The location was great. We spent one day at Ausable Chasm, which was not that far away. We spent the next day at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, also not too far away. And we drove to the top of Whiteface and spent some time in Lake Placid. This location was perfect for all of this. Host was great and check in and out was super easy. The cabin was a good size, I appreciated having a small fridge and microwave handy, they even had a Keurig and k-cups in the room. The property is gorgeous and has communal campfire areas, and the rooms have fireplaces as well. The location is good overall, it's a small distance from the town of lake placid but it was nice to be that small distance also it's much quieter. They are also dog-friendly which is a huge plus. The only thing I was not a fan of was the carpet in the bathroom, I'd much prefer hard floors by the shower. But overall great and will visit again. ##### Amelia R.
