Needed last minute stay that was pet friendly . The location was great. Easy drive to Lake placid or other areas . Cabin was warm , clean and comfy . Communication was great . The chalet was small, but clean and cute. It had everything we needed. The location was great. We spent one day at Ausable Chasm, which was not that far away. We spent the next day at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, also not too far away. And we drove to the top of Whiteface and spent some time in Lake Placid. This location was perfect for all of this. The cabin was a good size, I appreciated having a small fridge and microwave handy, they even had a Keurig and k-cups in the room. The property is gorgeous and has communal campfire areas, and the rooms have fireplaces as well. The location is good overall, it's a small distance from the town of lake placid but it was nice to be that small distance also it's much quieter. They are also dog-friendly which is a huge plus. The only thing I was not a fan of was the carpet in the bathroom, I'd much prefer hard floors by the shower. But overall great and will visit again. ##### Amelia R. The first thing we noticed was how neat and clean the cabin was and Michele stoped by and asked if we needed anything and was so pleasant.
