"Had a wonderful 3 night stay, room was spacious and comfortable. Common areas were clean, beautiful and relaxing. Being off season it was fairly low occupancy. Location was excellent, walking distance to Main St"

"A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"We had a really wonderul stay at the Eastwind. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very quiet. We also really loved the Sauna. I was a little disappointed in the book selection in the "library". I would have loved to see some books about the history of the area or local wildlife. But really our stay couldnt have been better. Its a gorgeous property. "
