The room itself was in awful condition, there wasn’t a spot for me to park, there weren’t clearly marked parking spots, the room above me was very loud all night, there were ants, I couldn’t stay for my whole visit because of how awful it was.

This Sonesta hotel hasn’t been maintained well. A lot of things are broken, bed sheets were stained and room carpets/kitchen flooring were filthy. The staff were really nice and friendly…but that wouldn’t make me want to return.

The staff was extremely helpful. Room needs to be upgraded, carpet worn, torn with holes, sofa was stained. The company they use for snow removal didnt do much of anything during the storm. The steps leading to my room, did not get shoveled one time in 2 days.

Checked into room & bathtub had a gross stain in it. Called the front desk and they told me hotel was booked, housekeeping left at 5pm, and they were sorry. I told them I didn't feel comfortable getting in the shower & I was concerned that if the bathroom was this unclean, had the room been cleaned by housekeeping.

I liked the staff. The girl at the front desk and the girl working the breakfast were very nice. 2 complaints. The place needs a good cleaning. The carpet had a nasty stain. Also, I paid extra for a fireplace. Turns out it is a real fireplace (not gas). I had to pay $15.00 for the log and no one had matches or a lighter.

Charged $250/night, plus a $250 incidental fee that takes a week to get back. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in our room. There were no pillows or blankets for one of the beds. When we asked the front desk for these items, we got an eye roll. The hot tub wasn’t working, and the pool was scheduled to open at 8am but staff said it wouldn’t be until 10am. Checkout is 11am. Pretty disappointed for the price.

We had a room with a full kitchen. When I went to make a pot of coffee, I discovered that the coffee pot had not been cleaned in a very long time as there was still a filter with used grounds covered in mold! Lighting was poor in the outdoor walkways and the outdoor stairs were covered with mildew and were very slippery. Our bathtub had a huge brown stain in the middle of it. The area under the kitchen sink was rotten and the fix was a piece of contact paper. The sink had a garbage disposal which had no cover, so items could fall into the disposal. There were two bathrooms, and only one facecloth between the two bathrooms. Overall, just an unkept property. I had high hopes because of the pictures on Expedia. Very disappointed.

Terrible service and lack of cleanness
We got into the room notice that there is a water bottle half full on the couch, fly dead in the bath tub, tooth floss at the corner of the wall. Went to take shower notice the conditioner bottle is empty. We had a family emergecy to leave the hotel 1 day earlier, hotels.côm told us to talk to receptionist which we did 24 hours before the hotel receptionist said they have no authorization to refund the last day and the manager will be calling us on Tuesday, no one called us, we called today the receptionist told us they can’t process the refund due to the policy, we requested to talk to the manager, the receptionist said I can transfer you but don’t think she is willing to talk to you but I’ll transfer you anyhow, I left a message for the manager and not even a courtesy call to acknowledge that she has received the call. Do not waste your money staying in this hotel, there are so many other nice hotels clean rooms with a great customer service.

The staff were fine for check in but, no one was at the desk after that. I had two minor issues that I could find no one to help resolve. No one at front desk either by phone or when I went to the front desk. This is a security problem too anyone could have just gone into the office.

When I checked in I asked does the pool close at 10:00? He replied yes. My daughter and grandchildren came for a visit the kids we were all so excited to swim that night there was a big note on the door pool area closed. We asked the front desk they said there was an incident over the weekend. The breakfast buffet we had to wait for everything to be made while we were in line they were even out of coffee. There was cigarette butts everywhere on the grounds. There were water stains on the ceiling from the above unit over the bathroom sink. There was no shower bath gel or conditioner in the despensers in the shower. I have stayed here at the holidays before but never experienced all of this.

Best quality and price!
I was amazed at the quality of service and the quality of the rooms at such a low price. Large, comfortable, clean beds. Walls, floors, counters, furniture… everything kept clean and spotless! Fully furnished kitchen with everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full size refrigerator and freezer. Full size dish washer and cooking range. This will definitely be my go to from now on.
