Enjoy friendly competition in shuffleboard or air hockey in the game room or unwind on the patio with outdoor dining options, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco. As the sun sets, gather around the outdoor firepit, where seating invites you to share stories and create lasting memories under the stars. Plus, with the famous Ark Encounter just 5 minutes away and the Creation Museum only 45 minutes away, you’ll have the best of both nature and adventure at your fingertips. The interior is so thoughtfully designed and we had fun picking our favorite bedrooms. There was more than enough space for 10 of us and we felt right at home the moment we walked in. As warm and inviting as the inside is, what also really sets the house apart are the outdoor amenities. There is an awesome firepit area in the backyard, elevated deck with seating, and a beautiful lake right behind the house. We all loved walking the trail, listening to the birds, and seeing all the pretty wildflowers. It was so peaceful. Kate was such a gracious host too. We traveled there to visit the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter. It's abour 45 minutes from the Museum and 6 minutes from The Ark. There are a variety of restaurants close by to choose from. This home is outstanding. Our kids especially enjoyed the downstairs game room, as well as playing outside. The area around the fire pit and the side porch are perfect to sit and chat. It's an ideal place for a family to stay. Our family had a wonderful time making memories. Kate adds a lot of extras to make it comfortable and cozy.
