Tucked away on the peaceful Relweg in Wijk aan Zee, Le Paysan is a charming holiday home that offers the perfect blend of coastal serenity and everyday comfort. Ideal for families or small groups, this three-bedroom home is just a short walk from the beach and dunes—perfect for sun-filled days and long coastal walks.  
  
The kitchen, located on the ground floor straight ahead from the entrance, is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and sink, making it easy to prepare your favorite meals during your stay. To the left of the kitchen, the cozy living room invites you to relax after a day of adventures, whether it’s with a good book or sharing stories around the table.  
  
Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed, and two with single beds—perfect for both couples and families with children. The large bathroom is designed with comfort in mind and includes a spacious walk-in shower that’s been thoughtfully adjusted for older guests, as well as a bathtub and toilet.  
  
When you're not exploring the dunes or enjoying the nearby beach, the shared back garden offers a peaceful spot to unwind. With a comfortable lounge set, it’s perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a quiet evening meal outdoors.   
  
Wijk aan Zee is a beloved seaside village with a relaxed vibe, wide beaches, and great spots for walking, surfing, or simply taking in the sea air. It’s also conveniently located for day trips to Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Alkmaar—making it the ideal base whether you're looking for a beach retreat, a cultural getaway, or a bit of both.

The entire house is yours to enjoy. In the garden, there is a separate summer house where our lovely host, Chantal, and her son Kay stay. You’ll share the garden entrance, but the back terrace is completely yours, as Chantal has her own terrace for the summer house. Chantal is very familiar with the house and is happy to offer local tips or assist if needed. Please, feel free to make yourself at home!

Wijk aan Zee is a charming and laid-back coastal village known for having the widest beach in the Netherlands, just a 5-minute walk from Le Paysan. Whether you're here to relax in the sun, go for long strolls along the shore, or dive into adventure, this seaside spot has it all.  
  
Along the beachfront, you’ll find a variety of lively beach bars and restaurants where you can enjoy everything from fresh seafood to cocktails at sunset. Local favorites like Aloha and Timboektoe are perfect for casual dining with your feet in the sand, and are just a short walk or bike ride away.  
  
The area is surrounded by stunning dunes and nature reserves, offering endless possibilities for hiking, biking, and simply soaking in the beauty of the North Holland coast. If you’re into surfing or kite surfing, the beach here is a popular destination for both beginners and experienced riders, with surf schools and rental options available nearby.  
  
Despite its tranquil atmosphere, Wijk aan Zee is also conveniently located—just 30 minutes from Amsterdam and close to cultural gems like Haarlem and Alkmaar, making it the ideal base for a mix of beach days and city trips.

\## Transit  
  
Getting to Le Paysan is easy by public transport. From anywhere in the Netherlands, take a train to Beverwijk Station, the closest railway hub. From there, hop on Connexxion bus 75 or 78 to Wijk aan Zee and get off at the Julianaweg stop. From the bus stop, it’s just a five-minute walk to the house. The entire journey from Amsterdam typically takes about an hour and fifteen minutes. If you're driving, the coastal roads are scenic and straightforward, with plenty of space to park nearby.

#### Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus! 

Diese Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich mehr als übertroffen. Alles sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern und ist super sauber. Die Gastgeberin und ihre Familie sind alle unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten das ganze Haus sowie die schöne Terrasse für uns und bis zum Strand waren es ca 8 Minuten zu Fuß :) die Straße ist sehr ruhig und wir hatten immer einen Parkplatz vor der Tür. 10/10 Empfehlung, ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen!
