Great holiday cottage, well equipped, all on one level. Quiet spot with cows, goats and sheep viewed through the windows. Cottage is allocated one hour a day in the indoor heated pool with sauna, all to yourselves! Need to drive to get to shops in local area, train in Aspatria can get you to Carlisle or down to the coast. Keswick about a half hour drive, so easy to get to several of the lakes. Owner friendly and helpful if you have any issues. Pool facilities great, hot tub definitely worth the extra money. A giant pig, a Shetland pony and a cat so cute and hilarious to watch. Only downside generally couldn't get hold of the owners to help find out how to work the hot tub or the oven (you have to put the time in before it will switch on for the oven and the hot tub I still have no idea about haha). Lots and lots of kitchen utensils but very odd combination of things for instance a whole silver service tea set but on 3 plates?? Also pool and hot tub so chlorinated it made you cough and your eyes water. Apart from that would recommend and would return 100%%% ##### Katie
