Duncansby head a short drive or walk from the property is a must for bird watchers . we just missed an orca pod running through Pentland firth . but what impressive views were to be had all along the north coast. the property was very dog friendly and it was well stocked with all you would need for a wonderful stay . The hosts Catherine and Andrew were very nice and helpful. We stayed almost 4 weeks over the holidays and Catherine decorated for Christmas - it was so cheerful and we loved it! The kitchen is perfect for cooking meals, and has plenty of seating for entertaining friends. There was a welcome pack with wine and goodies, also eggs, bread and butter, tea and coffee. The spaces are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The view from the conservatory is spectacular. Wonderful property, perfect for our week- hosts were lovely, house was excellent with loads of thoughtful touches, and the welcome pack was a treat. The owners were helpful and easily contactable. The gardens are well maintained, large and private. The Ha House is perfect for a family, our ages ranged from 6 to 83\.
