The house has been completely remodeled and offers a modern feel. It is located in the Historic Delano Neighborhood, just minutes from Downtown and close to anything you might need. It comfortably accommodates 6 guests with availability for more. With a fully equipped kitchen, washer/ dryer, and WI-FI, this house offers most anything you might need for a short or longer stay. I will be available by text, phone call or email anytime. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any needs you may have, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Delano is a trendy neighborhood situated just west of the Arkansas River and Downtown Wichita. With popular bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping within walking distance, this neighborhood is perfect for anyone who wants to get one of the best experiences Wichita can offer. Monarch is a personal favorite (for food, drinks and appetizers). Centrally located, you can get anywhere in Wichita within 20 minutes. This house is located just one block from Friends University and just minutes from the Arkansas River. Don't forget to check out Wichita's iconic Keeper of the Plains. Guests have full access to the property. Should spills or other things happen, there are cleaning supplies under the sink and a broom and vacuum in the back bedroom closet. There are extra towels and linens in the bedroom closets, as well as extra toiletries in case anything was forgotten. Delano Delight is completely remodeled and fully furnished with brand new appliances and furniture. With a ring door bell system and key pad entry, it is easy for guests to check in or reach me in case of emergency. Motion-sensing cameras are located on the front and back of the property for extra security. The front door opens into the large open living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room has 55" Smart TV with Netflix, Sling and Blu-ray Player. The kitchen is stocked with a Keurig coffeemaker, toaster, blender, pots/ pans, dishes and cookware. Basics such as coffee, tea, and sugar will be available. Bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hair dryer, q-tips, and cotton balls. The back 2 bedrooms have queen size beds with memory foam mattresses and the front bedroom has a king size bed with hypbrid mattress.The back bedroom has the laundry closet which is stocked with laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and bleach, iron and ironing board. Have kids? A pack and play and high chair are available upon request. We also have age appropriate toys that can be available upon request. Working? This space has a workspace with a charging station, fast Wi-Fi, and is conveniently located. We also offer this space as short-term rentals for business purposes. The base price is based on two people, after two people, each additional person (including Kids 2 and older) is $15.00 extra. This property is non-smoking and drug-free. This includes E-cigarettes and any illegal substances. We highly encourage people to take their shoes off in the house in order to help to maintain a clean environment for you and future guests. This house is centrally located with easy access to Kellogg Avenue. You can get to just about anywhere in Wichita within 20 minutes. Delano Delight is one block from Friends University and within minutes of the River, the Historic Delano District and Old Town. Scooters are also available for rent nearby. We do have a ring doorbell system and motion activated camera on the back door This house is located next to a major highway which offers a lot of convenience but also some noise. We do have new windows, sound proof drywall, and sound proof window hangings that cut out a good deal of the noise. We also have a ear plugs and a white noise machine available in each bedroom. The bathroom is located between two of the bedrooms. The guest(s) staying in the 3rd bedroom will have to enter the bathroom through another guest's bedroom. The base price is based on two people, after two people, each additional person (including Kids 2 and older) is $15.00 extra. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a Queen Bed (sleeps 2). This property is non-smoking and drug-free. This includes E-cigarettes and any illegal substances. The property was as advertised - a few family traveled to Wichita for the NCAA Basketball region and stayed at Delano Delight, just a short distance from downtown Wichita and INTRUST Bank Arena. The owner does mention the property backs up to a loud highway and it does but they provide ear plugs and white noise machines, which overcame the highway noise and made for a good nights sleep both nights. Although I only counted two white noise machines for two bedrooms, unless I just didn't see one in the back bedroom. One of our family members is hard of hearing so he didn't need it anyway. ##### Charles N. I was needing a place to get away and focus on some business things, and this place was perfect! It is so cozy and has a wonderful layout for relaxing indoors and outdoors, cooking, and working! Communication from the property manager was great and instructions for checking in and out were clear & simple. They even touched base to make sure all was going well during my stay. We were there around new years and they even had it decorated very tastefully for Christmas! Nice unexpected touch. They thought of everything! I rated the location a 3 just because the highway is so close and we could hear the traffic. It didn’t impede our sleep because they had provided sound machines we could use as we slept. We came to town from rural Iowa to see our niece. The house is at the end of the block on a cul-de-sac so there's not much traffic on the street. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. The listing did warn about the interstate traffic. I'm not sure if it was the time we stayed or if it's normal, but there were lots of sirens along the interstate especially at night as we were all trying to sleep. All the bedrooms back up to the interstate here. If your a light sleeper, bring earplugs and or a sound machine.We typically travel with our dogs, so finding pet friendly stays is always a nice perk. This stay stated it had a fenced in back yard, which it did indeed. However, the back yard was so over grown we had to wade through the brush to ensure there was actually a back fence before we were comfortable letting the dogs explore their new space. There's also a fence pannel missing between this yard and the neighboring property that had a plastic tote lid trying to function as a hole filler. Lastly there is a significant weak spot in the flooring near the floor register right in the middle of the house. This is a high traffic area, and the floor flex there will wake you up more than desired while wandering through one of the other bedrooms to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Even with these small quirks, we were overall pleased with our stay. ##### Kendra D. It was clean and cozy, and lived up to the online description. Alex was a great host, responsive to messages and even delivered a new iron when we couldn’t find one in the house. The check out process was easy and required only the basics, which was nice.
