Lovely location.... let down by cleaniness

We were so excited to finally arrive at Hamilton Island after a 24 hour delay, and check into our luxury apartment. The valet was awesome meeting us at the airport. On first appearances the apartment was just what we wanted. The views are incredible. However, it soon became apparent that it really wasn't up to expectations. The floors were very dirty, despite clean sheets on the bed, the bed linen doonas and covers were not washed with what looked like vomit smeared across. The mattress in the pull out bed was disgusting. Filthy & Covered in bad stains, covered in crumbs and bugs and ants. We had to vacuum. The pots and pans were dirty as was the BBQ. The shower door wouldn't open and shut properly, coming off the tracks each time. Which for a glass door is a hazard. The manager did arrange for the floor to be cleaned and a mattress cover which was great. But it really took the shine off for us and we wouldn't recommend Oasis 20. Some of the other apartments in the complex might be better 🤔

Fantastic property

Great property with an amazing view! Everything you need was supplied in the house and it was so handy to have a full kitchen and laundry for our stay. Small pool onsite made it easy for late afternoon swims for our daughter. Definitely recommend. WiFi kept dropping out so just as long as you’re not expecting super fast reliable WiFi you’ll be fine! But you’re on holiday so this shouldn’t be an isssue 😉

Great accommodation with everything you will need for your stay including kitchen utensils and bbq. Very clean and spacious with lots of natural light. Great communication from the property manager and having a buggy was very helpful. Thank you for such a great stay!

Oasis 20 stay

Zac the Valet was fantastic and helpful throughout our stay. A few things to consider is having it cleaner- there was still food in the freezer and the bin was dirty with food droppings over it. Tv in bedroom didn't work and the wfi didn't work. The 2 staff members we dealt with were amazing and helped when the buggy broke. Would have also liked cleaning spray to clean kitchen area more thoroughly. Beautiful views thank you
