Own driveway. This bright and spacious house has a warm and homely feel with the added bonus of your own car park space to the front of the house. You enter through to the side of the property into a large hallway. A sensor activated outside light automatically comes on at the side door. To the front of the house is the lounge with 2 sofa's and a log effect fire and flat screen TV. There is a second WC downstairs off the hall. The kitchen / dining area is to the back of the house leading to the veranda and sunny garden. There is a feature stairwell leading to the two double bedrooms, one with a king bed, dual adjustable and the other with a double and a single bed. Now featuring a brand new top of the range first floor bathroom with shower over roll top bath. The house has gas central heating and free Wi Fi. We are only 4 minutes walk away from the mainline station with direct links to London. 3 minutes to the shops, 8 minutes to the beach, harbour and castle. We stay in Whitstable often, but never in this area which was interesting, we didn't know about the stream walks. It's a 10-12 minute walk to the harbour and the main restaurants at the bottom of town, which was fine, and it was very quiet walking in and out at night. A faint drawback: the double bed is in fact two singles - and comfortable, but there is a bit of a chasm between the two. The little pearl is outstandingly equipped, absolutely tidy, offers enough space for everyone, comfortable beds, a good shower, generous room for clothing, and a nice garden - we didn't miss a thing. Extra remarkable is the host, Sara, who answered every question promptly and friendly and who even put on some extra effort trying to help us to get back two bags we lost on the train.We can also highly recommend Whitstable itself - nice little town with small and individual shops. You can go to the beach (Tankerton is not far and even nicer) or do some bicycle trips to Herne Bay/Reculver or Canterbury. Whtistable is also an ideal starting point for tours (e.g. by train) to Margate/Ramsgate and Dover or to Leeds Castle.We would always choose the little pearl again - thank you, Sara! ##### Sofia B. The off street parking was very handy and the kitchen was well equipped so contrary to original plans we stayed in a few nights and cooked. The house was spacious clean and has a lovely garden to relax in. Location was quiet and with easy access to the town. Car parking space was a bonus. The property was well maintained and very clean, having a parking spot in front of the house was a bonus. Nice outdoor sitting area.
