It is about a 5 minute drive to west glacier, but tucked away in a little slice of heaven. The lake is stunning. My kids had the best time jumping off the dock and swimming after a long day of hiking. The cabin itself was quaint and incredibly comfortable for our family of 4\. We spent every morning drinking coffee on the deck and my husband and son did a sunrise canoe trip. Tara, our host, was incredibly welcoming. She showed us around the property and got us settled in. It was beautiful, clean, and the host Tamara was very helpful and welcoming. We had a hiccup with the lock code during our stay, but Tamara was able to resolve it within an hour and get us back into the cabin. The location was unbeatable - 10 min from Glacier NP entrance. You can see the lake from the loft bedroom upstairs and there is another bedroom downstairs. Cell phone service is very spotty, but we were told that beforehand so we were somewhat prepared. It was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and we couldn't be happier with our accommodations. This place is spotlessly clean, the deck and the view were perfect for morning coffee ! The location of this wonderful cabin is very convenient to the Apgar Gate, and as a major bonus there is a beautiful lake for swimming after enjoying your day in the park, or canoeing and paddle boating right at the back door. Amenities are nearby if needed such as groceries, ice cream and pizza. It was such a peaceful wonderful place to enjoy MT. Thanks for a great stay! ##### Lynda M.
