With 150 ft of private beachfront, a hot tub and room to sleep 8 with 3.5 bathrooms, this home is the perfect getaway! Enjoy the provided kayaks, or pull a boat up to the private dock for a day on the water. Barbecue dinner on the upper deck, then relax around the firepit. Located 10 mins from downtown Whitefish, 15 mins from the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort and a quick 45 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier Park. We live in the area, so we are available if you need anything or have questions. Conveniently located to many of the area’s amazing natural attractions, you are 10 minutes from quaint downtown Whitefish, 15 minutes from the ski slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort (just past the turn off to the mountain), 45 minutes from Glacier National Park (west entrance), and approximately 40 minutes to Flathead Lake. The area is a haven for recreational activities in any season and an all-around travelers’ paradise. Check out all the Flathead Valley has to offer in Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers plus more. The nearest airport, Glacier Park International (FCA), is about 17 miles away. The entire space is yours to enjoy. The main floor where you enter the home has an open concept with a spacious living room, a full kitchen, and dining room including access to the deck. You will also find the master bedroom complete with an ensuite bathroom, a powder room and a full-size washer/dryer on the main level. A spiral staircase leads to the lower floor which has three bedrooms, with a queen bed, 2 twin beds and a twin over full bunk bed. There is a small living area with TV and couch. A full bathroom in the hall and a bathroom in the bunk room complete the downstairs. NEW DECK(S) COMPLETED IN 2025! The upper deck offers a great place to barbecue or relax while taking in the amazing views. The lower deck leads to the lakefront and boathouse via a winding stairway (approximately 200 ft). To the right of the lower deck, a small set of stairs takes you to the private hot tub under the stars. Just above the beach area is the firepit area for those cozy nights. A dock on the water is available, at the earliest, usually Memorial Day and generally until the first of October.. Check for specific timing if you are planning to use in the early or late season. This house has all the essentials plus more for your stay. Great basecamp for your recreational activities or don’t even leave with everything offered here! Due to the location and the relatively small population size of the area, there is not public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber are a good choice but can vary in availability. Other options may may be available depending on the time of year and weather conditions. Please be aware that Montana winter storms can hit hard and fast. You may want to consider renting a four-wheel drive in the winter months depending on your experience with weather conditions. We do have a snow removal company that will take care of plowing the driveway, and we do provide snow shovels and snow melt for use during your stay. Major storms will contribute to the timeliness of plowing so preparing accordingly is key. The private hot tub is open and serviced year-round. Wood is not provided for the firepit due to limited space to store. A dock on the water is available, at the earliest, usually Memorial Day and generally until the first of October.. Check for specific timing if you are planning to use in the early or late season. The only thing missing from our stay at the lake home was our pontoon back in MN! The kayaks and paddle boards were a big hit with everyone, and I really appreciated that there were toddler life jackets available. The house had everything we needed, and we especially loved spending time on the deck—particularly grilling out.Morning coffee and evening wine on the deck with those beautiful views were a highlight. The views were amazing! Unfortunately the weather was cruddy so we weren’t able to take advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks. The house was great and very well equipped. Just like the listing mentioned, there are a lot of stairs, some of which are narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. We arrived in Whitefish early and let the property manager know, who was able to work it out for us to check in early. The location was great with a view of the lake and short drives to the ski hill and town. The drive through driveway was a bit was a bit slick and steep (as mentioned on the site description), but we were able to get in an out without problems. We also took advantage of parking a vehicle in the turnout spot off the road before the driveway. The house had everything needed for those of use skiing and those just wanting to relax. The hot tube was great and super relaxing at night and we had a great time. Additionally, when some valuables were left behind the cleaning crew promptly alerted the property manager, who reached out to use to arrange getting them back. Super impressed and happy with everything and how nice and accommodating everyone was during our stay. ##### michael c. While very close to Whitefish it was secluded and provided a relaxing experience. The homeowner left good directions for the home, and everything was else was easy to figure out. The house was well appointed. From bear spray, puzzles, coffee, etc. the owners are very thoughtful when it comes to providing for their guests. The Coke in the fridge was helpful for a Jack and Coke after a long day of travel. Extremely close to Whitefish and an easy trip to Glacier National Park made the location very convenient. Enjoyed our stay at the modern lake house. Besides the two days of septic issues and one day of road closure everything else went smooth. Beds were comfortable and house was stocked with plenty of toiletries and cookware. The owners thought of everything down to cooking utensils, stocked pantry, swimming towels, floats, even the dock had its own private shed where we found kayaks, SUP’s and fishing poles! 10/10 would stay here again and absolutely would recommend! ##### April G. I have been to Whitefish and know the lake well & this location is fabulous!! Great street with a tight knit community and friendly people as I met a few of them. Excellent part of the lake, quieter towards the North, easy drive to town. The house has a great layout, excellent view and walk down some steps to your own dock. Hot tub is very nice feature at the end of a long day! The house is very comfortable and all the necessities are there...actually we went to the grocery store first and found plenty of kitchen extras as every body buys too much and then leave for the next guests :) We had a couple very minor things but Ruthanne was amazing, quick response and right on it! For the location, price, view, and Property Manager, I don't think you will find a better house...Get On The Lake!! ##### steve c. Our group consisted of two married couples that were seeking a weekend getaway. Our musts were a hot jacuzzi, accommodating kitchen, private floors for each couple, and a lake view. This place delivered and exceeded our expectations! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. For anyone interested in this lakehouse, I would be mindful of how many vehicles will be staying here. The driveway could only fit about two to three cars, so you may want to consolidate the cars as best as you can. There was an unexpected plumbing issue that was of no fault of the homeowner or property manager, and they went above and beyond to make it right! They are absolutely the most kind and salt of the earth people with how they treated the situation. Can’t recommend this place enough!! ##### Erika N. Drew and team took a rough situation and turned it into a phenomenal experience! When my account got hacked and the stay was cancelled the property management team leaped into action to make sure my stay could go according to plan! The property manager got us in the property for our originally scheduled time! Drew and team were very sympathetic to the situation and responsive! Beyond the amazing customer service the property is gorgeous! The view and access to the lake is unmatched! The hot tub is such a fun way to warm up after a day on the mountain! The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils. To finish it off the giant tv was perfect for watching the Super Bowl! If I could rate better than 5 stars I would! We had a group of eight who found this house comfortable and relaxing. Kitchen is well stocked and the kayaks and fishing tackle were nice to have access to. Driveway is a bit tricky to navigate, and spiral stairs to the lower three bedrooms were a bit challenging for our elder family members. Owners/manager communicated well and were very responsive.
