This stretch of the river where wildlife abound is famous for tube floating, fly fishing and seasonal kayaking. Common wildlife sightings include eagles, osprey, waterfowl, foxes, deer and occasionally moose and bear. Listen to the sound of the river rushing past the home as you lounge on the deck soaking in an amazing setting. Experience unique privacy but you are only minutes to all the conveniences of being downtown. A full service market including floating tube rentals, fishing licenses and gas station are located within walking distance to the home. The main floor consists of the master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a guest bedroom with twin bunk beds and the third bedroom with a king-sized bed and three full bathrooms. Also on the main floor is the gourmet kitchen with gas stove, dining room and great room with stone fireplace. The open floor plan includes large picture windows with spectacular views of the remarkable Swan River and Swan Mountains. The upstairs level includes the fourth bedroom with a king-sized bed and another bathroom with a combo tub/shower. The remaining 2 guest rooms are located in the detached guest quarters above the garage. Each are furnished with king-sized beds and two bathrooms. Both buildings are air conditioned. The attached covered deck off the main house leads to a beautifully landscaped and manicured lawn at the water's edge. We had 9 adults and it is usually hard to find homes with lots of king beds and in room baths, so that was a bonus. The gas line to the outdoor grill was great too - not having to deal with propane tanks. Our only minor suggestion is that they get a few more large pots and platters. We love to cook and for our large group, we had to improvise to have enough pots. We would go back in a heartbeat!!! We bought river tubes online and went tubing for a short 45 minutes almost daily then left the tubes with a family friend who lives nearby. ##### Constance L. WS only 61 degrees upon arrival and took a full 24 hours for house to warm up to 72\. Ice maker broken, tvs we’re next to worthless with no cable connections…. We loved staying on the river and being able to walk straight into it off the back porch. We were able to fish and swim whenever we felt like. We floated the river to the house which was fun! Great food near by and within an hour or less of Whitefish and Glacier. But who needs that when you have delicious food and great hiking (Jewel Basin) and a river in your back yard. The natural beauty of the site is, well, beyond words. The spacious accommodations for our family of 10, ages 79 to 15, were very comfortable and the location, relatively close to Glacier National Park, cannot be equaled in our opinion. Six of us are fly fishermen and greatly enjoyed our float on the Clark Fork with guides from Bigfork Anglers, the best guide service!
