Perfectly situated cabin in the woods on 5+ acres. Just far enough away for peaceful evenings around the fire pit and under the stars, yet a quick 30 min. drive to the bustling downtown Whitefish. No matter the season, Whitefish is a recreational dream! Hiking and mountain biking trails just steps from the property, Tally Lake fishing around the corner, world class ski slopes close by and wildlife viewing abounds! Glacier National Park \~45 min. drive! This thoughtfully designed cabin offers a large open floor plan with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large loft/game room, complete with a foosball table, video arcade game and large board game cabinet with some of the classics. The master bedroom, which includes a king bed, is attached to the master bathroom with a large bathtub for soaking, or a shower head if you prefer. The upstairs bathroom includes a large single standing shower. The living area offers stunning vaulted ceilings, with comfy and cozy seating to relax. The wood burning stove in the living area offers heat throughout the entire cabin and adds tranquility to the ambiance of the space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook a family meal - either inside or out - using one of our two grills on the back porch. In warmer months, open the wall garage style door from the kitchen directly to the outdoors. Enjoy a glass of wine out back while sitting at the wine barrel and taking in the peace of your surroundings. The kitchen dining area also has a large table with seating for 6 guests. During the summer months, relax by the outdoor fire pit, nestled amongst the pines, or simply relax on the front or back porch with a good book and a glass of wine, whiskey or your favorite local craft brew. Water sports are abundant - with 100+ lakes & rivers within 100 miles, including Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi (in the lower 48), there is no shortage of water activities around. And you can't miss the short drive to Glacier National Park to enjoy a day of hiking and sightseeing, and the breathtaking "Going-To-The-Sun" road. During the winter months, enjoy world class skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort - with 3,000+ skiable acres and 14 lifts with terrain for all skill levels and stunning views! The next day, strap on our snowshoes and go exploring around the cabin looking for elk, deer and MOOSE tracks! Perhaps grab the sled and go find a nearby hill to bring back the enjoyment of simpler times! We cannot wait for you to enjoy all Whitefish and Flathead have to offer and we promise you will want to visit our northern slice of heaven again! Other things to note - For your enjoyment, we offer some additional items for your use while visiting. Summer Months - Enjoy use of our LARGE inflatable paddle boards (x2), Corn Hole game, binoculars, outdoor hammock or backpack while hiking. All of this to be seen from 2 large porches!!! We loved the secluded nature of the cabin!!! It was beautifully designed and our contact was most helpful!!! Our son did a great job picking out this place so we could all get away from our Texas summer heat in August!!! This was the perfect retreat for our 6 adults and one 21 month old granddaughter!!! The cabin and property were clean and beautiful. All the amenities were in place, the host Liana was attentive and answered our every question, even giving insight as to all to see and do around the area. Each morning and evening sitting on the porch was not without the sighting of deer or other wildlife. We loved the remoteness of the cabin yet only a short drive to Whitefish or Glacier National Forest. We greatly appreciated having a comfortable place to enjoy our summer vacation/ retirement celebration 2024\. Some things I missed - a garbage disposal, ice maker, and main bath shower. The listing indicates a shower, but it is just a hand held. For some reason, I thought there would be a standup fixture in addition to the handheld shown in the pics, so that was my mistake. While we were there, we had a moose and several deer in the yard and saw lots of animals on the drive to the cabin, including elk and even a bear! The kids enjoyed the game room, but ping pong was a challenge because the deck isn't screened in and there are no steps going down to the back yard, so you have to go through the front door and around back if you lose a ball. No screen for the "garage" door, so we didn't use that, but there is a velcroed screen on the walk-out door to the deck. Overall, we found it pleasant and clean with a very responsive hostess. ##### Tara S. Property owners are great and make sure you have all the little knickknacks that make you feel at home. Plenty of firewood to keep the stove going and plenty of kitchen supplies to be able to have a nice dinner. It’s a little far from town, 20 minute drive, but the beauty you get from being up in the woods away from everything is definitely worth it. Owners had sleds at the cabin and there is a great hill right out the front door. Kids had a blast just playing in the snow around the cabin. Will definitely be going back. It was immaculate, well-stocked, cozy and communicating with the host couldn’t have been easier! It is a perfect mix of rustic and luxury, with cozy style but all the amenities you could need. The owner is super responsive. The location is also great, in driving distance to Whitefish and Glacier, and nestled in on a mountain. If you need to work remotely, they have Starlink, which worked really well for us. ##### Alexandra K.
