The yard itself is hard to leave with a fire pit, kids play set and forest to explore. Inside, past the entryway is a mudroom/ laundry room then kids room with two loft beds and a tub/shower bathroom across the hall. The master bedroom has a king bed and a shower bathroom with a sliding door to access the deck and fenced portion of the yard. Upstairs is a spacious open floor with kitchen, dining and living room. There's also an outside deck with BBQ that overlooks the yard. There is awesome single track for biking, hiking and cross country skiing into Haskill Basin just across the street. This is nestled within minutes of downtown Whitefish, Whitefish Lake and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. 40 minutes to Glacier park and about 30 minutes from Glacier International Airport. This home is a great basecamp for Glacier Park excursions, resort or backcountry skiing, x country skiing, biking, fishing and hunting. It’s location was great for Whitefish and it felt very private. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor seating as well as the lovely living room with amazing windows and lounge chairs. The mattress on the bed was the only part that felt like it needed a freshening up for the future. It sort of rolled you towards the center and was clearly a bit long in the tooth.
