Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana. This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. When the snow melts Whitefish Mountain becomes a summer playground home to zip lines, alpine slides, hiking, biking and so much more. The greater Whitefish area has some of the best golfing, water sports, fishing, whitewater rafting, festivals and is the gateway to Glacier National Park. Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. We especially loved the deck and loft! The pictures show the living room having to large sets of windows, but the sliding door to the left of the couch actually goes to a balcony for another unit, so you can’t use it.
