It's close to Whitefish proper and yet feels like it's miles away in the middle of nowhere, with deer and wild turkeys visiting frequently. The ground floor of the cabin is multi-levels (so watch your step) and we loved the sunken fireplace area. Plenty of games and books provided by the host, although we never had the time to try any of them because there is so much in the area to explore. And one member of our party didn't do as much exploring as the rest of us because his vacation became a time of rest, with no nearby traffic and nature all around. Sep 11, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Peaceful Cabin Perfect for the Furkids and Down time! I was traveling with dogs and only was able to stay here a couple of nights but it was exactly what I needed, and what I was looking for- a nice peaceful and beautiful setting. No visible neighbors, huge yard for the dogs to romp around in, and perfect patio to kick your feet up and read a book or watch wildlife. They had some interesting historical books in their library and a TV set up for apps for those that must. I had some work to do unfortunately so the wifi came in handy. Owner communication was friendly and quick. Great spot for the canines too. We will be back! ##### Trista F.
