Gray Wolf Den combines Gray Wolf Units 1 and 3 to provide a larger space for more guests in the Tamarack neighborhood at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

By combining two of our units in the same complex, Gray Wolf Den (comprised of Gray Wolf units one and three) is the perfect place for a group or two families. An interior set of stairs links the upper level with the lower. With two, fully equipped kitchens and two living areas, there is more than enough space to spread out.

The upper kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops and opens to a comfortable dining area with room for up to nine guests at a beautiful split log table. The lower level eating area seats four. The upper living area features leather furniture, queen sleeper sofa, and 58" flat screen smart TV. The deck off the living area includes a gas BBQ grill.

Out of the four bedrooms, the lower room provides a king size bed 32" flat screen TV. The lower living area also provides a sleeper sofa and a 50" flat screen smart TV. The main level features a bedroom with two twin log beds. Upstairs, the remaining two bedrooms feature one king bed, full bath, 28" flat screen smart TV, and one queen bed and a 32" flat screen TV. An additional bathroom completes the upstairs. The condo also has three portable air conditioning units for your summer comfort.

Guests of Gray Wolf Den enjoy exclusive access to our Sherpa Complex outdoor hot tub, a special amenity shared by only select Whitefish Mountain Resort properties.

We loved the rental unit. Perfect to give 3 teens their own level. Deer just out the window every day. Perfect stay!

Underwhelming for the high price

Not impressed with the condo for the very high price (over $950 per night after fees). All the beds were very uncomfortable and cheap, and kitchen was not well stocked with usable items. The hot tub and pool house were hilariously bad and outdated, and god-awful fluorescent lighting wow. Again, the unit is nice and convenient to skiing, but for this price I expect top quality. Next time I will stay in Whitefish town and drive up to the slopes for 1/4th the price.

GREAT CABIN WITH AWESOME VIEW

Overall our stay was fantastic. The facility was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved that there were 4 bathrooms to help accommodate everyone. My only complaint was there was no air conditioning and the windows upstairs were broken. This made it almost too hot to sleep the first night. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay!

Great experience

We had a great experience at Gray Wolf Den The two units worked perfectly for our group of 9. The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture is comfortable and there is room to spread out between the units. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were not available this summer. We would definitely come back!

Downhill days

We booked to go downhill mountain biking, but also enjoyed all of the other activities that were right out our door. The unit was clean and comfortable.

4th of july vacation

These condos were perfect for our multi family getaway. Plenty of room for everyone, comfy bedding and space to spread out. Kids loved being able to use the sherpa pool and having a bbq available was super nice too.

Great place for visit to Glacier and Whitefish

We rented 3 of the 4 units for a small family reunion/high school graduation trip for my niece. The condo is nice and comfortable. Since we were there at the beginning of June, the resort was very quiet. We loved being there and can't wait to go back in the winter to ski.

8 stay at Gray Wolf Den

It was setup for us perfectly. We each had our own room and a bathroom to ourselves. Easy to get around the area and nice location for going back and forth to Glacier. All rooms came with a fan that was needed even with the windows open.
