It is conveniently located to the National Park and there are a few restaurants and a gas station within a few minutes. An even greater variety of restaurants are in Columbia Falls 15 minutes away where there is also a grocery store, hardware, etc. It was very quiet in the cabin except for the occasional train. It's worth mentioning that the cabin is on a very dusty road so your car will be dusty. The wifi is good. We don't really cook on vacation but the kitchen is well stocked with a full size refrigerator and freezer. The full-size washer and dryer was a really nice bonus. The bedding was good and the pillows were comfy. Our host, Lacy, was very responsive to questions before and during our stay. No great views but perfect for someone looking to stay about 10 minutes from the west entrance of GNP. There is a binder with a list of places to eat in the area or you can make your own meals. Clean cabin and quiet neighborhood except for the train horn. Washer and dryer worked well so we could pack less clothes. It is well decorated and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. However, it is very close to the railroad tracks, and 3 to 4 trains went through both nights between 10 PM and 7 AM. They blew their whistles and it was. VERY loud! Another issue we had was the poor communication with the host on several levels. Just be patient driving the gravel road to the rental and follow Abby's instructions. You will be rewarded if you go out on the deck after dark, sit back in the lounge chairs, and savor the stars. Abby was a joy to interact with.
