« We were in town for a wedding. This place was just what we needed. Beds were comfy, place was clean, and location was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had read reviews that mentioned the train which was good to know ahead of time. I made two casseroles to take to a brunch and the kitchen was stocked with the necessary kitchen utensils. We would definitely stay here again. »

« This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. A high chair or booster and or pack n play to use would have been a bonus, but we...

« The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. « Cozy house just steps from the water. The private island is for sure worth visiting, especially for the sunset's. The kitchen is amazing and has literally anything you can think of or need. Dixie is beyond an amazing host, she exceeded my expectations when it came to communicating and made this trip so easy from the moment I hit book. She is a wonderful host, responds immediately, addresses concerns quickly - although nothing was major - and genuinely cares about her renters. Older family member appreciated ease of entry and getting around without having to use stairs . Host was very receptive and promptly answered any questions .All in all great experience. »

« We rented this cute little house for my family and a few of our friends for a softball tournament. The owners were great with communicating with us and the house was so clean! The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect for us. The only thing I wish there had been a baby gate for the stairs, it’s a tri level so there was two small sets of stairs and it would have been great to have a way to block it off. But overall we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend! »

« Nice property with very comfortable entertainment areas and bedrooms. It is very convenient to everything. Our group enjoyed it very much. It is well furnished with nice size entertainment, kitchen, and bedroom spaces. It didn't necessarily hit our luxurious scale which for price point should be closer. All said, we enjoyed the stay. »
