The small courtyard garden over looks the ever changing harbour picture. There are signs of wear, but a lot has been upgraded. We went during Covid and the attention to cleaniness put us at our ease, we felt the owner / cleaners had done their best. The price is very good for what it has to offer and the location. Thought for possible holiday makers are that it is railings around rear courtyard with a gap that smaller children may be tempted to look through to the boats moored there, but that is a small thing, for us as grandson is of an age to understand the issue. Previous years we have tied up a windbreak when younger. If you go once this is the place to use. Very good base 5 minute walk into town, and free parking next to home. Ever changing view of Whitby as right on Harbour, with views to steam trains on other side. Ideal base for other local attractions as well and there is always something happening in Whitby to boost a stay. Furniture is comfy, Kitchen and Living room are airy and open plan, even with 4 adults in our party you are not on top of each other. Main Bedroom fine as only sleep in it, the bed is snug for a 6 foot person, and width is ok, (spoilt at home with extra wide). Toilet and shower are very clean.
