This property (unit 207) was adequate but is dated. It was fine for the price that we paid but I'm not sure I'd stay there again. The pillows were horrible and I'm quite sensitive to dust and found myself awake both nights with allergies. The place is NOT dusty and appeared perfectly clean but I think this is how it is with older properties. I also saw silverfish in the bathroom while I was up in the middle of the night. I think this may be expected in an older property but still not something you want to see in the middle of the night. The unit was well equipped for cooking and everything was functional (except for one lamp). The location of the property suited our needs for ski in/out and a place to sleep at night but otherwise I wouldn't return due to the age of the property and the property/cleaning gfees (expensive for shorter stays but more reasonable if we stayed for a week).

Hi Karen, I am sorry to hear you experienced issues with parking and your codes during your stay. I hope the issue with your codes was addressed with our front desk team so we could attend to the problem right away to ensure that you had the most enjoyable stay possible.I am sorry to see that you were disappointed with the parking fee to use the secure underground parking underneath the hotel. Apologies if you were informed that parking is included. We do endeavor to make sure this is advertised in all of our booking sites . Our staff are educated in each of the properties we manage so I am uncertain as to why that information was portrayed to you. We hope that you might consider booking again, perhaps at an alternative property. Please reach out to us as we would like to ensure your next visit is an excellent one.

The entire yard was under construction. Noise would start at 8:00 am. The pool, hot tub and games room were all out of order due to construction. This was never communicated at any time prior to arrival. The front desk is off site.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you did not read the policies prior to accepting the terms and conditions on Expedia when you booked your stay at one of the condos that we manage. I can admit I am not one to read the terms / conditions and just click accept, it appears as if you did the same. All parking fee’s and damage deposits are listed on all booking channels. Whistler Premier is a management company in which we manage an array of privately-owned units throughout Whistler. We have one 24 hour desk location for convenient check in for our guests as it is simple not possible to have a desk at all of our properties. Apologies that this was not clear to you prior to your arrival. We do advise to ensure that you read all of the terms and conditions prior to clicking accept.

Check in on website said one location... we showed up at that location to check in and told no it's somewhere else. Finally checked in and got to the place... building seemed old and run down. Not a pleasant look on the outside- grass all over grown. No where online does it say outside pool area is all under construction. So no pool or anything. The room needs up keep and needs a good reno. Parking garage didn't feel secure. Will never stay there again.

Deceptive
This place is terrible. It is sold as a hotel, but is really managed condos. There’s no front desk, you have to go to another building to check in. So towels for the pool. There’s absolutely zero reason to pay for extra people. The ‘management’ company claims they don’t know anything about street parking, but say you’re welcome to pay $20/night to park your car onsite. Check the signs outside, you can park your car right in front of the hotel just like everyone else is. I’d rather stay in a hostel next time.

I am very upset with the property we rented this weekend in whistler. I have stayed in this building before, but it was my first time through expedia. Our king size bed was 2 very old and worn out twin beds pushed together. The pullout sofa had no mattress or pillows. There was minimal supplies in the kitchen, NOT even a pot holder. The bathroom toilet was filthy and shower tiles were disgusting and slippery. The bed linens have holes in them and the place was so dam hot we couldn’t even breath. I have never been so disappointed and tired from a trip to Whistler, we come here very often and have never had this type of experience. We would have been better off sleeping in our cars or a hostel. Also the fridge door is broken and the fridge hums all night long because it is constantly trying to cool off. I would appreciate a call back as we tried to contact Whistler Premier properties but because we booked through Expedia they could not assist us. Regards Serena Collins 604-729-2925

Great time
We enjoyed Whistler. Ski hill had great weather. People are friendly. The condo was clean. Nice accommodations. Hot tub was hot after day skiing. Felt great!! Did not go into pool. Bus is easy to use once we tried it. Taxi service is easy to use. Ski out had to push a little but not bad. Ski in brought you to the front of the resort. Better skiing in than out. Walk to lower village not bad. About 5-10 minute walk each way. Lots of restaurants and shops.

Not Quite 4 star. 3.75
Our group stayed in three different units at The Marquise. 421 was the only one overlooking the courtyard. It is VERY noisy on this side as all the sounds echo and bounce off the walls. Positives: Comfortable furnishings. nicely updated bathroom. Large table with chairs. Sufficient kitchen utensils. Secure underground parking. Cons: Noise from courtyard, constant LOUD drip onto the a/c unit. Very warm in unit. Bed is only a queen. Have to stop at Whistler Lodge in the village to check in before going on up to The Marquise. The Marquise says it is ski in/out. This is not quite accurate. It IS close to the base of Blackcomb which makes for an easy walk to the Main Village. However there is a road to cross and a few hundred meters path to get to slopes and it runs horizontal. Cross country ski in/out perhaps when the weather permits. There are no services at this building. There is laundry on the first floor and a gym. The price does reflect that this unit is not as nice as some of the other completely remodeled units on VRBO and Tripadvisor. But for convenience to the village The Marquise is a good choice.

There is no maid service, which for a hotel that s the equivalent to one star. There was no A.C. in the room, and in some summer days is needed. If you're staying more than couple of days, you'll need to purchase cleaning products

Dear Felix, Thank you for the feedback. The Marquise units are all self contained condos, not hotel rooms. Supposed to be a home away from home if you will. Basically, this means that we do not provide any daily housekeeping services or restocking of initial supply of amenities. Its also one of the ways that we keep our prices extremely competitive and low compared to other properties. Daily housekeeping is available for an additional fee if you request it at booking time or check in. All of this is clearly outlined on all our booking confirmations and booking partner websites. Other than the miscommunication on housekeeping, we hope you enjoyed your stay. Please contact us directly if you would like a repeat guest discount! Thank you, -Breandan

Perfect location
Had a great time at the Marquise. Super quiet spot for night time relaxing. But yet still a close 5 minutes walk to the village to get in all the excitement. it was great having a 1 minute walk to the hill where we snowboarded down to the lift. The condo itself with great, lots of room for the 2 of us and very clean. It was nice having a cool breeze come through to cool us down after a long day on Blackcomb mountain. The only minor down spot was that the codes we had for the condo door and for all the other doors like the garage and the hot tub and the main entrance. would have been great to just have one code to open all doors. But other then that I will definitely be renting this place again in the future.

Nice stay with everything necessary for a ski trip
Our stay was very nice. The room was comfortable, if not incredibly modern. Everything worked and the room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There's no daily cleaning, but that's fine if you're there for the mountain, and not the room. Easy bus access made getting to and from the Village a breeze, but if you're out late, keep an eye on the bus schedules.

Condo rental short drive from main village
Overall we had a positive experience. Location was perfect for what we needed (close to Ironman activities). Amenities were great including the pool and gym access. The unit was clean, had everything we were looking for in the fully stocked kitchen, as well as offered toiletries (shampoo and conditioner) which was a nice touch. There wasn't anyone working at the hotel/condo lobby front desk for the duration of our stay, so when questions arose, for example with the underground parking, we had to call the check-in hotel (located down the hill in the Whistler village). They didn't seem to know specifics about the underground parking in the building, and told us to talk to the worker at the front desk in our building, however there wasn't anyone there for our 3 days. Clearly there was a disconnect as the check in facility and our condo site didn't communicate regularly... A downside... our unit overlooked the front entrance. There was a designated smoking area to the left of our balcony, and throughout our stay we could smell cigarette smoke.

My wife & I enjoyed a clean & relaxing Marquis #207 showing only minor problems --- the microwave plate skidded, the 4-place table tilted, one chair back & the toilet seat were loose. In contrast my youngest daughter & her son found Marquis #212 excellent throughout, including all furniture & equipment plus WiFi for getting daily hill weather reports.

Nice room, good location about 15 minute walk from the village. The radiant heat in the room was very high, in the hallway and in the room. We were able to find the controls for the room heat, but the corridor remained extremely hot all weekend. The cable and wifi were very spotty to non-existent.

Would not stay at the Marquise again!
We have visited Whistler often in the passed 30 + tears. The Marquise looks fine from the exterior, ok walking distance to the village, shuttle bus service was fine. The weather was extremely hot, and smokey. The air conditioner was old and barely generated any cool air. We had one fan for the entire suite and that was totally inadequate. The fridge took forever to cool anything and the heat it generated only added to the temperature in the room. The bathroom pocket door worked poorly if at all and you had to use 2 hands to open & close it, you could see how people tried to close it before by the scuffed paint, needs replacing. The parking is expensive, but who wants to leave a $100,000 vehicle on the street?? There was a miniscule patio, totally useless, one "small wooden kitchen chair" on it. Cookware is ancient, needs replacing, Teflon wore out and scratched---is not healthy to use scratched up frying pans. Toaster was two sided with only one element that worked on each side. Coffee pot is ancient, makes lousy coffee. Towels were poor and some had holes in them. Blinds should be changed to those that block out the afternoon heat and light for obvious reasons. Also ---Why put a track flood lights above the vanity mirror--3 of them ---far too bright???

Disappointing to say the least
I arrived in town for an athletic event and was really looking forward to a comfortable room, pool and hot tub. When I got to my room, I discovered there was no internet in my room. I called the front desk and was told to use any of the internet connections I could find and use the applicable password. None of them worked. The bed was extremely old (far older than the building) and extremely hard and uncomfortable. On the morning of my last day, I decided to have a swim and a hot tub before breakfast. When I arrived at the pool, I discovered it had been drained. I returned to my room to have a shower and found the water was cold. As there are no staff working the front desk at this building, you have to call a local phone number. I called the number 3 times and got no answer! Needless to say, this is the last time I will be staying at a Whistler Premier facility!

Would not recommend
I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all. It is in a very inconvenient location for going into the village, not very clean, uncomfortable and it seems there are no staff on site. We arrived at 6pm to check in and found a locked up front deal with a note saying to go to the hotel around the corner to check in. So we got back in the car and drive there only to find they didn't have our booking and couldn't tell us which other hotel we needed to check in at. An hour and a half, and about 10 phone calls later, we were told to go to a hotel in the lower village - luckily we had a car because this is about a 20 minute walk from the Marquies! When we finally got checked in and back to the Marquies we found our room was stuffy and smelt quite musty. The "queen size sofa bed" was tiny and so uncomfortable. The pillow provided for the sofa bed were ancient - thin, lumpy and sweat stained. Not a good experience.

Nice condo a short walk from Whistler Village
We were looking for a good deal and rented this condo for 2 nights. It is a full one bedroom apartment with kitchen etc located a 20 minute walk from the main village. We checked in at the front desk of a hotel in the village and then we weren't bothered for our 2 night stay - a nice perk. The furnishings are older - not 5-star hotel level. And there is no front desk on site. They don't clean your room or make the beds when you are out (which we like). If you are looking for luxury and pampering, stay in a hotel in the village. If you want privacy and don't mind walking, this is the ticket!

It was over 30 degrees and there was no air conditioning. The parking lot was wide open and not secure. There was no staff on site, so we couldn't get fresh supplies without leaving the premises. Plus there wasn't any decaf coffee. The room was nice, but everything else was extremely disappointing.

We had a great stay in Whistler. The village is a 10 minute walk. The only downside was the check in. Went the the hotel but found out check in was at a different location. We had a bit of a challenge finding the check in. Also we were told a blind was broken in our room but when we arrived found out it was missing . People had full view of us bedroom from the street. The clerk at the front desk told is to nail a sheet up !!!!!! Within an hour they changed us to a new room. Challenging start but overall had a good stay

The beds were comfy, the room was clean and it was a convenient location that wasn't in the village but close enough to walk to both the upper and lower villages. Unfortunately parking for 2 days was an additional $34.00 which was unexpected. The air conditioner, the room phone and the wifi were not working and when I let the front desk know, there wasn't as much as an apology. I'm not sure I would stay there again.

Condo dated!
This condo is now dated, although clean walls have patch marks not yet painted, front door to unit no longer fits well and requires fiddling when locking and unlocking, TV in bedroom is standard in most units at this price range. it wouldn't take much maintenance to bring this unit up to par.
