Excellent hotel with all the amenities to walk out the back door and ski. Ski rentals. direct access to slopes, food an shops. I liked the fact that we had to walk to the major shopping area because it was a beautiful walk with holiday lights in the tree on a beautiful and safe path.

"Cozy place with an easy walk into the village"
This was a great place to stay for a family of 6, with the youngest being 17. We were a little worried about the walk into and back from the village, but it was really no big deal. Anyone that can ski for 3 out of 4 days shouldn't be bothered by such a short walk, and the lodge's shuttle is running so frequently that it's fun to jump in occasionally. The kitchen is well appointed in the rooms. We had everything we needed to make breakfast before skiing as well as dinner on a few nights when we didn't want to go out into the village. The local Whistler grocery store had everything we needed to stock the refrigerator. Plenty of storage space for our stuff, though we rented boards and skis in the village and stored those at the rental place instead of at the lodge. Other guests seemed to be storing and grabbing their skis with no issues every morning, so I expect the ski locker they provide is just fine. The staff was wonderful, offering helpful advice and answering all the questions we had. Our kitchen was missing a corkscrew, and they brought one up quite promptly as soon as we called. Two jacuzzis by the pool with easy access. We never needed laundry faciliies, but it was nice to know the 1st level has machines to use. The fireplace in the room only allows for chemical logs (like Duraflame), and the front desk sells these for a reasonable price. A great experience, and would stay here again!

"Excellent Apartment Style Hotel - Whistler Village"
Excellent Apartment Style Hotel in the Village. Room was very functional with a full kitchen, fireplace, etc. Was perfectly located in the Village -- short walk to everything. No need for a car. Hotel is a little older but we were not expecting the Hyatt Regency or similar top hotel. The price was excellent for the value provided. Has two hotels across the street from each other so you can use the facilities at either. This was a great time with no problems.

"Ok place to stay but it wouldn't be my first choic"
On our 2nd day there we came back from Whistler at 5:30pm and the maid was in our room cleaning. I wasn't to happy especially since we were so exhausted from snowboarding. Also, they have coffee, apples, bananas and some stale treats in the front lobby, but you have to pay for all of them. Yes, you have to pay for coffee. It's ridiculous! I've never been to a hotel where they made you pay. One of the hotel front desk ladies is so rude. She has short hair and really a bad personality for greeting people. Watch out for her. Other than that is was an ok stay.
