"One of Canada's Best Hotels"
Everything about the Nita Lake Lodge, the room, the staff, the location, etc., met and exceeded expectations (and expectations were high, given its universally great reviews).
The lobby and entire facility was immaculate and gorgeous. Staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Johannah, who was able to accommodate a last minute (as-in 30 minutes before check-in) request for a romance amenity of chocolate covered strawberries and Prosecco, which was delivered to our room strategically while we were downstairs for dinner.
Speaking of food, even though Aura, their main restaurant, was closed for a private event for the one night we were there, the food in their lounge restaurant, Cure, was excellent , and there was a selection of the Aura menu available as well.
The room was spectacular. We stayed in the lowest end room (and I use that term very lightly) and it was palatial. Beautiful finishing on everything, a large, comfortable bed, gas fireplace, comfy couch and an incredible bathroom with heated stone floors, and a huge shower and separate enormous tub. Simply spectacular.
