Nice Hotel within a short walk to EVERYTHING

Posted 21-Feb-2017
Nice hotel. We stayed in a small 1 bedroom suite that was perfect for our needs. I used the spa and pool after skiing and the area was never too crowded and was clean. They do charge for parking, which was a drag, but not unusual for the village hotels. My only real complaint is that there was a weird food stain on the carpet in the living room that was really noticeable.

Fair hotel near shops 8 minute.walk from slopes

Posted 21-Feb-2017
Definitely not the 4 star hotel its inroom commercials advertise. Outdated. Cheap renovation, already rundown hallways, carpeting and doors-chipped and scraped up. Good beds. Great staff. Filthy kitchen. Grime on counters, applicances and cabinets. Very unappetizing environment to make a meal. Free shuttle to slopes but 8 minute walk not ideal with gear.

Pros: Very Clean, Beds - comfortable, Rooms were large, loved having a fire in the lounge room. Lovely cosy room. Staff - very friendly, unpretentious.
Beautiful drive from Vancouver to Whistler. Roads a little winding.

Highly over priced given the room size and conditions.

Cons: Cleaness.
The hotel is comfortable. But the floor is not vacuumed sufficiently maybe due to the busy season. And something's left in the dish washer.

Nice Hotel, Good for families and groups

Posted 24-Dec-2016
Pros: The Room is set up as an apartment, which makes it very comfortable.
Location: Ski and Snowboard rental is available in the lobby, and a free shuttle takes you to the mountain, very convenient.
Hotel is Perfect for people travelling in larger groups (5+). We have already planned our next trip to come back with our families and stay here again !

The Quiet Comforts of home at Whistler

Posted 20-Dec-2016
Pros: Excellent staff, quiet building, and terrific facility.
Cons: The dining table, though in good repair, was a bit Ikea with a big plywood cross base supporting the tabletop. We couldn't get the chairs pushed in.
Location: Ice skating rink, sled hill, groceries, restaurants, doctors' offices, ski shops, the Whistler Museum and Whistler library are all within steps.
We recently skied at Whistler for the first time and I was mildly apprehensive about it because of Whistler's renowned nightlife. We have two young boys who usually call it a night by 8pm and I had visions that we would hear partying to the wee hours of the morning. The Delta at Whistler was a quiet, comfortable haven with full kitchen, washer/dryer in the unit, and enough (3) hot tub space to satisfy all the aprez-ski needs of our family and other hotel guests. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. The furniture was in great condition, cleaning services were one point, and the hotel staff had capacity to service additional needs. We're pretty low-thrash, but valets, bell hops, concierge, and front desk staff were consistently bright and cheerful in the lobby. In addition, when we wanted to get to the base in a hurry instead of walking through the village the shuttle was quick, clean and comfortable. This hotel is a short ten minute walk to the gondola, but much closer to the Olympic Plaza skating rink, sledding hill, and the big grocery store if you intend to keep things low-key. Access to the floors is key-carded and parking is beneath the building. The ground level under the rooms is occupied by a ski shop, dental office, and other businesses that don't stay open late. That said, both the fine dining Hy's Steakhouse and a good looking restaurant /bar are right there for drinks and eats. Highly Recommended.

Dear Joe, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. I am very happy to read that you and your family had a great stay with us. It sounds like you found a lot of the great fun spots the village has to offer close by the hotel and throughout the village. We hope you come back for your next ski trip! Sincerely, Erin
