Spacious condo on 2nd floor facing the quieter Blackcomb mountain side of the building. Completely remodeled with newer flooring, new kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, paint, modern furnishings and decor. Main bedroom has NEW queen bed, Wall mounted TV, new bedding and linens, lots of storage, beautiful new 3 piece en-suite bathroom. Second bedroom is smaller yet has custom bunk double beds ( double on bottom and twin on the top) new linens and bedding. Living room is open and spacious with new sectional sofa, window bench, fireplace, and access to private deck. Open style kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, all new cabinets and over-sized island with 4 bar stools. This suite has air conditioning, free WIFI, Cable TV, and underground parking plus common hot tub. Marketplace Lodge is located at 4360 Lorimer Road, backing onto Olympic Plaza and the entrance to Whistler Village. Shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the Village Stroll are only a few minute walk from your door....Online booking available for your convenience. Place was clean and reasonably stocked. The main TV in the living room wasn’t working well and we had to do a bunch of technical troubleshooting to get it to work. Sent some photos to the host to be able to let them know of the issue for future guests. Kettle could use replacing and as a few others mentioned the toilet lid is cracked and the bunk bed is meant more for kids than adults. Parking spot is tight if you have a large vehicle (we had intermediate sized SUV) And you have to unload everyone and everything first and close your mirrors on the vehicle, before parking or else you can’t open any doors. A small car would fit ok though. Laundry in suite was ideal and the dishwasher and oven and stove all worked great. Balcony was nice to be able to stand skis and boards up on to dry. Easy walk to the gondolas (10-15 min) and it’s very close to the Olympic rings and park. ##### Abbi S. The free shuttle is about 2 min walk away but found we just walked about 10-15 min through Whistler village to the main gondola instead (to warm up and/or grab a coffee/drink). The grocery store is across the parking lot and the condo has most of everything you need to cook. Tons of restaurants/bars within a short walk so no need for a car when you make it to the condo. The condo is perfect for a small group and electric fireplace and shared hot tub is great. Only issue is we could not figure out how to control the heat. All the thermostats were off and the condo got hot enough at night that my friend who slept on the top bunk was too hot to sleep there. Good news is the bunk beds are comfortable enough for 30 somethings to sleep in.
