Guests will enjoy being able to walk to skiing in under 5 minutes while also having a complimentary shuttle stop right at the property for convenient access to Whistler Village. Resort review: There is a nice 3 minute walk from the main ski run to the resort(look for the Marquis sign). Unfortunately this is only available if you can ski to base, otherwise you have to walk to the gondola which is like a 10 minute walk. The resort is also well maintained and there is plenty of (paid) parking even on a busy week. Room review: The room needs upgrades. The mattress on the pull out sofa was unusable. The mattress springs could be felt and the couch itself was stained. The TV remote was also broken and so was the TV audio. Check in was smooth and helpful and it could be nicer if the staff told us there is free parking option in parking lot 4 and 5 in off peak season (of course it requires some walking then). The management is also very nice to allow us to check out at 11:00 when we asked (packing kid's stuff needs some more time). By the way, lower side of bathroom mirror frame and at least one towel hanger (lower bar of left towel hanger) are loose a little. A very pleasant stay and thanks. ##### Hanping X. In summary, if you are thinking that the pull out bed can be used for sleeping, you will be sorely disappointed. We are a family of four (kids aged 10 and 13), and even they couldn't sleep on the pull out. The mattress is warped, thin, and you can feel the springs very very easily. We've stayed in another place at the Marquise with the same problem. The couch itself is super comfy to sit on, but when you pull it out for sleeping, it's impossible. Please fix this! Otherwise, it's a nice place to stay. ##### Vicki L.
