You'll also find galleries and museums including the Whistler Museum, the Audain Art Museum, and the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center, all less than a mile from your door. For winter adventures, walk through the Village to the Whistler base or hop on the complimentary shuttle that picks up at the front of the property. Biggest complaint was the heater/furnace in the room: every time it started and every time it stopped it was like someone kicking the wall with a ski boot on. I mean LOUD: BAM! Try that 4-5 times a night... (that coupled with the unique (?!) double-door entrance to ours and apt. 510 next door- neighbors let both doors slam every time they came and went- late into the night) made for less than restful nights. The room has a wonderful view of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains and is well equipped with everything you need.
