Welcome to our Airbnb, named after New Zealand’s unique Kererū, a bird celebrated for its role as the "gardener of the forest." Known for its gentle nature and graceful flight, the Kererū symbolizes peace, abundance, and the harmonious cycle of life. In Māori culture, it is regarded as a sacred bird, representing renewal, prosperity, and connection to the land. By choosing this name, we hope to offer you a tranquil and rejuvenating stay, inspired by the beauty and serenity of nature that the Kererū embodies.  
  
The accommodation features three cozy queen-sized beds, providing comfortable sleeping arrangements for your stay.  
  
Guests have access to a full-size bathroom, perfect for a refreshing shower, as well as an upstairs bedroom with an additional toilet.  
  
The kitchen is fully equipped for your culinary needs, including a toaster, kettle, stove, cookware, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Cutlery and dinnerware are also provided for your convenience.  
  
The open-plan living space features a dining table for meals, a TV for entertainment, and a cozy sofa for relaxation.  
  
For your laundry needs, a washing machine and laundry powder are available in the shared laundry room. Experience the comforts of home while exploring the beauty of Whangarei!  
  
Your booking provides exclusive access to the entire two-bedroom property. However, please note that the laundry room, porch, and deck are shared spaces and may be used by other guests during your stay.  
  
We advise our guests not to use the backyard due to the steep stairs. Please note that the host will not be responsible for any damages or injuries incurred in this area. Thank you for your understanding!
