Although its Jurassic Coast location is private with access via a single track road, it is only a 20-minute walk along the coastal path to West Bexington or a 15-20 minute walk towards Abbotsbury where you will find the sub-tropical gardens. Continue on to the heart of the village and you will find the local shops, pubs, tea rooms, art galleries, and the famous Abbotsbury Swannery can be found on the eastern edge of the village. The walks, views and sunsets are fantastic in this very special place. The sitting room, dining room and kitchen are open plan and ideal for getting all the family together. There is a ground floor master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and shower, two ground floor twin or king size double bedrooms and a shared shower room. On the first floor there are two twin or super-king size double bedrooms each with an en-suite shower room, and two small balconies with panoramic coastal views. There is a bespoke, spacious and well equipped kitchen. Outside, there is a gravelled courtyard with a dining deck, table and chairs, corner sofa and coffee table. Above the property is a large open lawned area. The property also has a separate utility/laundry room. This beautiful stretch of the coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, has World Heritage status and offers direct access to much of the world famous Chesil Beach and Coastal Path. The stretch of beach close to the property is regularly voted to be one of the best fishing beaches in the country. Ground Floor: Sitting room Seating for 10 guests with a 40" Freesat smart television. Kitchen/dining Kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The dining table seats up to 10 guests and has french doors. Bedroom one With king size bed and small sofa. En-suite shower room With bath and shower over, wash basin and WC. Bedroom two With twin singles or a king size bed. Family shower room/cloakroom With walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Bedroom three With twin singles or a king size bed. First Floor: Bedroom four With twin singles or a super-king size bed and a small balcony. En-suite shower room With walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Second small balcony off the landing Outside: Utility/laundry room in separate building. Lawned garden, plus fully enclosed and gated gravelled courtyard with deck and garden furniture. Parking for up to 4 cars on the gravel drive at the front of the property. Additional Information One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). A high chair and portable stairgate available on request. Barbecue available during the summer (charcoal not provided). The house is absolutely lovely and the view is even better. We didn’t realise we’d be that close to the sea which was a great surprise. The house is well equipped and the layout is perfect for families. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch too. The nearest village of abbotsbury was beautiful, you almost feel like you’re in a time warp. There’s also a great park for the kids, with a nice view of St.Catherines chapel.
