Although it was very nice to come to a motel that was not run by a foreigner!! The room was clean and spacious, the bed was great! "

"The Lodge on Bluegrass was one of the best vacation rentals we've had. There was plenty of space for our large group, the house was well-stocked with linens, towels, kitchen supplies, and activities for the yard and pond that were available on the property. We loved seeing all the animals (horses, wild turkeys, coyotes, birds, and fish) and being able to feed the horses and turkeys was a wonderful experience. The check-in and check-out processes were super simple and the privacy of the home was wonderful."

When my local family came by to see where we were staying, they were happy to see the restorations too and all felt the house was cozy and comfortable. As with any older home, further repairs and painting of trim will likely occur as time and resources allow although, these things do not hinder the charm and livability of the home. Plenty of room for the two of us, we were comfortable in this quiet neighborhood."
