The Westport Country Lodge is a boutique hotel, a mile away and has excellent food and a lively bar. The House is an ideal base for touring Achill, Connemara, Galway, and Mayo. It is family-friendly and a perfect setting for evening BBQ,s. There are lovely country walks nearby. Westport has lots of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema, and leisure centre. This property has a wood fire stove to keep you cosy and warm during your stay. Staying here also allows you access to the private garden. Oh, and it’s pet-friendly too! As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher, a freezer and a microwave. The house is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and internet access. This house has 5 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 11. In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed and a single bed. In the next bedroom, there are 2 single beds. The third bedroom contains a king bed. The fourth bedroom contains a queen bed. The fifth bedroom contains a single bed and a futon bed. There are 3 bathrooms. The first bathroom has a toilet and sink, a bath and a walk-in shower. The next bathroom is ensuite, has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. The third bathroom is ensuite, has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the Irish countryside. The house itself is spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of traditional Irish charm and modern amenities. Each room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing plenty of space for our group to relax and enjoy. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic outdoor area. We loved spending evenings on the patio, taking in the stunning sunsets, and enjoying the fresh air. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals and enjoy them together around the large dining table. Our host Jimmy was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great recommendations for local attractions and dining options. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to Westport and its many attractions. We particularly enjoyed hiking The Reek and the charming town of Westport with its lively pubs, shops, and historical sites. The scenic drives and the proximity to beautiful beaches made our stay even more special. Overall, the Yellow House exceeded our expectations in every way.
