There were a couple of things broken/not working. The fireplace was not working and the blinds in dinning area/big window were not working and hanging crooked. The lock on the front door was very hard to get unlocked, the coffee pot did not work, the blinds were a challenge, the rug in one room slid on the floor, causing a fall, and there were no instruction on how to work the TV, or other needs in the unit. It had a beautiful view and I enjoyed watching the storms roll in off the ocean. The beds were comfortable, the bathtubs were enjoyable after getting cold on the beach. The giant pot was also nice for cooking our crab. We did not bring our dog but we did notice that they had bowls for the dogs that do come. That being said when we got in we instantly noticed the arm of the couch had been broken or smashed some how. So if you sat on that end it was very uncomfortable. The blinds in the big window that faced the ocean were barely hanging by strings. When I reported it they said they were waiting to hear from the property manager and even now I still haven't heard back. As we were packing our stuff to head out I had my daughter checking under stuff for their toys. That's when she found a half ate brookie. For paying 180 in cleaning fees you think you wouldn't find half ate food under the couch. Also the title for this listing boasts access to the hot tub. We had no way of getting in, you have to have a fob key and there was none in sight. Luckily the lady in the club house was very kind and let us in. ##### Ashleigh H. Jul 31, 2025 #### Was truly calming We have stayed in this complex before, just not in this building. Was a tad hesitant, but was pleasantly surprised. The view of the ocean wasn't as much as we would have liked, but it was fine. We could hear the fog horn just fine. The deck was really nice, had a carpet with a table & chairs (kinda tall for us), however it worked. Had to use the patio to have dinner as the main table was busy with a puzzle we were completing that was provided in the unit. Don't normally do puzzles, we opened the patio door and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. We appreciate our dogs were welcome. they even had a pet bed for them something we don't have for our dogs. Wish we could have stayed longer, the days we were in Westport it was cloudy with intermittent rain. The week after we left it was sunny. Jul 16, 2025 #### Lives up to the name! This apartment although on the third floor and construction going on every day of our stay really was lovely. We appreciated the washer and dryer and the fact that they had stocked a few boxes of detergent, the kitchen was move in ready, stoked with all the essential spices and cookware, some coffee and teas as well. They are well set up for pets and Westport must be the most friendly dog area I’ve ever been so I highly suggest this vacation rental if you are taking the fur babies, they stock pet beds and bowls as well. The beach is right off the parking lot, an easy walk, they do have gas and electric grills on the common area patio, we didn’t get a chance to use the pool area but it looked really nice. The patio overlooks the dunes and you can hear the ocean but not really see the water due to the dunes, but seeing lots of deer and birds was easy from the patio view. All in all I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to rebook this apartment and definitely use the Vacasa Company to do it, they were really great no matter that we were booking and getting relocated or helping with problematic door locks.
