This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Its a home away from home, providing the amenities you need while you travel. Enjoy the beautiful view from our picture window while you relax with the family. Westcliffe is a special little town, that features one of the greatest views of the Rocky Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo range. We have our very own outdoor Amphitheater and Park. During the summer months you can enjoy concerts in the Park. We have the best true dark skies for star gazing and much more. There are dozens of high altitude lakes to hike, mountain bike trails galore, horse back riding, shopping, and great food... as well as peace and quiet when desired. This is a lovely spacious apartment on the third floor (walk up) of a historic building. Clean, well appointed, comfortable beds, everything you need in a kitchen, laundry, bath. Only minor complaints are that there is no television access to full range news and the couches and chair in the main living area are not comfortable. Also accommodating was the ability to brings my dogs with an incredible fenced “backyard” to walk them. Easy access downtown and very close proximity to the reason why I needed a place to stay. It had a cabin feel with aspen and pine trees right outside and views of the mountains in the distance. The kitchen was well stocked and with labels on the cabinets you knew where to find things and where to replace. It's in the heart of town so walking distance to local shops and the market too. There are 2 1/2 flights of stairs to climb \[last ones were a bit steep\]- don't try to carry too much with each load. If our travels take us back to Westcliffe, we will definitely stay here again, we highly recommend this apartment. ##### K R.
