Fully accessible from West Jefferson, Boone & even Wilkesboro Priority will be given to those who\`ve been displaced or crews who are here to help. Dogs are allowed! 4wd not required\*\* Welcome to Idlewild Ridge! Escape to a charming, new 2-bedroom cabin, nestled in the serene beauty of West Jefferson, NC and only 20 minutes to Boone. Experience cozy comforts and modern amenities in this tranquil retreat. Perfect for unwinding and exploring the scenic wonders of the area including hiking, skiing, kayaking and more! This cabin is 1 of 4 on the property and each is private and comes with a fire pit and grill! Relax and unwind in one of our cabins at Idlewild Ridge! Each home has 2 master suites as well as a pullout couch, sleeping 6 comfortably. A fully functioning and stocked kitchen allows you to make your meals. The porch is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in a rocking chair. Curl up on the couch and enjoy the electric fireplace while watching a movie! You’ll notice when you arrive, that there are multiple cabins. Each one is private per guest and you’ll have access to a private porch, grill & fire pit Idlewild Ridge is a unique spot with multiple cabins where you can enjoy the serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains Each cabin at Idlewild Ridge has it’s own gravel driveway. 4WD/AWD is always recommended but required from November - April. If there is snow, any amount over 3 inches will be removed as soon as possible but we cannot guarantee when it will be removed. Please note: there can be high winds in this area. Do not leave any items outside that can be blown away or knocked down No parties No loud music or noises No smoking on the property Bagged trash ONLY in outdoor trash can - if loose trash is found, there is a $50 fee (someone has to pull it out by hand, we do not have a pick up service) Please keep your pets quiet and off the furniture (an extra cleaning fee of $200 will be added if pet hair is found on the furniture - we appreciate your understanding!) Pets need to be crated when you are not in the cabin. As this is the mountains and we often experience storms and high winds, we sometimes experience outages of various kinds. They are almost always turned back on quickly and we won\`t be able to give refunds for outages except for on a case by case basis. \*If you know you need internet, please consider bringing your own hotspot to avoid missing important meetings • If any important items are left behind after your stay, we are happy to mail them back to you! It was clean, check in was a breeze, and the owner was very responsive. It is located off the beaten path in a quiet area, but is in close proximity to Boone, downtown West Jefferson, and North Wilkesboro.
