"The website said the rooms would be cleaned every two days. That wasn’t the case. Also they say that when you request the room to clean you would get it done …sadly that wasn’t the case. Maid service was slow and place was untidy Plus they gave us the wrong room, we booked a king room and got a double.Was a major inconvenience for us … but we ended up keeping it as we didn’t want to change rooms as we had already settled and would’ve gotten to change the rooms the next day and we were very busy."

"The room wanted to clean especially the bathroom and you see the hairs all over the shower didn’t work well nor the toilet it kept runnning. Please wash the towels properly you can see the dirt in it. Otherwise you can rest for a fee hours"

"The issues began at check-in, where only one of the three elevators was operational. Upon entering my room (Room, 1 King Bed, Accessible), I found the following: Safety & Maintenance: The AC system made loud, alarming noises resembling fireworks when activated. Additionally, the television depicted only static. Cleanliness & Upkeep: The floors were filthy, mirrors were stained, and both the carpeting and furniture were heavily worn and marked. Plumbing Issues: The toilet ran constantly, the shower/bath nozzles were rusted, and the water pressure was virtually non-existent"

"After 150 years in operation, you’d expect this hotel to have mastered hospitality. It hasn’t. As an Expedia Platinum member with 40+ stays this year across top hotels in NY, LA, Miami, and Europe, I understand the difference between policy and service. This property fails on the latter. My fiancée arrived ahead of me for check-in. The hotel called me to verify her identity, which I confirmed immediately. Despite that, they still refused to check her in, leaving her waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours. No urgency, no courtesy, no effort to recover, despite a time-sensitive schedule for a VIP event at UBS Arena. The next morning didn’t improve. I requested a late checkout to have breakfast on property. After a 20-minute discussion with a manager, they granted a minimal extension but failed to mention breakfast ends at 10am. We arrived expecting service, only to be turned away and left waiting for lunch. That’s not a minor oversight, it’s a lack of operational awareness. For a hotel that leans on a 150-year legacy, the service feels rigid and disconnected. At every stage, there was an opportunity to elevate the experience—and it was missed."
