Featuring a spacious kitchen, large dining table, cozy fireplace, pool table, large walkout deck with wonderful views, outdoor firepit, picnic table, yard and private hot tub. With quick access to rafting, hiking, biking, equipment rentals, activities and even helicopter tours, it's the perfect home base for any adventure! We live in the area, so we are available if you need anything or have questions. Conveniently located close to many of the area’s amazing natural attractions, our home is 5 minutes away from the west entrance of Glacier National Park, 20 minutes from Hungry Horse Dam/Reservoir, 20 minutes from Columbia Falls, 35 minutes from downtown Whitefish, 60 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, and surrounded by some great local hiking, biking, rafting and fishing. The area is a haven for recreational activities in any season and an all-around travelers’ paradise. Check out all the Flathead Valley has to offer in Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers plus more. The nearest airport, Glacier Park International (FCA), is about 20 miles away. Hidden quietly in a small neighborhood, yet over half an acre of private, partially-wooded space with minimal neighbors. Just 2 miles from the West Glacier entrance, this cabin provides everything you would want for a memorable vacation! The entire space is yours to enjoy. plus ample parking in the circular driveway. This tranquil home features vaulted ceilings, wood floors, cement countertops, alder cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a wood stove on a half-acre lot. Enjoy your morning cup of joe peacefully before hitting Glacier Park a few minutes away. On the main floor you will find the open kitchen, dining and living rooms as well as a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with a queen and 2 bathrooms. A washer and dryer is located in the main bathroom. In the inviting upstairs loft is a desk, pool table and TV area with a pullout couch and regular couch. This house has all the essentials plus more for you stay. Great basecamp for your recreational activities or don’t even leave with everything offered here! The outside space offers a little bit of everything. Enjoy the large walkout deck with views of the trees and mountains, private hot tub as well as the yard, picnic table, and BBQ. There’s plenty of space for your exercise routine or yoga practice. The outdoor space is complete with a fire pit and seating. Wood and propane are provided for your convenience. Perfect for an evening meal with family and friends, relaxing in the hot tub, making smores or stargazing with the beverage of your choice. Enjoy this peaceful location in the “woods” close to all the Valley has to offer. Due to the location and the relatively small population size of the area, there is not public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber are a good choice but can vary in availability. Other options may may be available depending on the time of year and weather conditions. Please be aware that Montana winter storms can hit hard and fast. You may want to consider renting a four-wheel drive in the winter months depending on your experience with weather conditions. We do have a snow removal company that will take care of plowing the driveway, and we do provide snow shovels and snow melt for use during your stay. Major storms will contribute to the timeliness of plowing so preparing accordingly is key. The home is stocked with firewood and the private hot tub is open and serviced year-round as well. GPS, cell service and wireless internet can be unreliable due to the location. We looked at multiple cabins around West Glacier area and we are so glad we chose this one. Everything was so clean, the hot tub was awesome, we loved the wood stove, privacy was great, our internet and signal was great, the cabin itself is beautiful, and they had everything there for you to use that you would need. While is feels remote, the cabin is minutes from the park entrance. It was very roomy for two couples and had everything one might want, or need, to stay and visit the park. They even had hiking poles and bear spray. The whole cabin was extremely clean, my number 1 priority. The bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any place I’ve ever rented. The washer and dryer were high end and all supplies were there to do laundry. While the girls enjoyed the hot tub, the boys watched football on the big screen TV through wireless phone connection. We were so busy in the park we never used the fire pit, but wood was provided. The hosts were very responsive prior to, and throughout, our stay. They were really easygoing, and accommodating for some special circumstances we had. There was train noise throughout the night, but honestly, I’m willing to bet there isn’t any lodging in West Glacier that doesn’t experience this. I highly recommend this cabin. ##### JoAnn W. It’s a spacious, very comfortable home. I loved the log construction: very cool and solid. The hot tub and large deck were lovely. Our young adult sons loved playing pool on the high-quality pool table. Very pretty home, perfect floor plan with plenty of space but also super cozy. The location is great! It’s very close to Glacier National Park, West Glacier and Coram. We loved the loft living and game room area. We watched movies up there after all day hiking. The hot tub was terrific to unwind in and the fire pit was lots of fun as well. Amenities were plentiful! The location of the cabin is great, just a quick drive to the West Glacier park entrance. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed to relax after a day of exploring. The hot tub and fire pit were a nice way to spend our evenings. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook 2 dinners in. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to the area. ##### Erin T. Close to everything. The home included everything you need in a home away from home but the outside fire pit and hot tub was the cream and cherry on top. The hosts were super responsive to any of our needs. The cleanliness was top notch. I highly recommend this cozy cabin, you won’t be sorry. The house is clean, comfortable, quiet and well-stocked. A five-minute drive from the West Glacier / Apgar entrance, it's a perfect location for easy access to Glacier NP. We appreciated all the little extra touches (ice packs & a cooler, hiking poles, bear spray, kitchen and laundry supplies). Check-in was easy and lots of helpful info was supplied. Ruthanne and Drew were quick to respond to any questions and were VERY responsive in helping us reclaim an item that we had left at the property quickly. It's about five minutes from the west entrance to the park. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Instructions were clear. Honestly though, the standout amenity of this property was the responsiveness and communicativeness of the hosts. Anytime I had a question, they responded within minutes. I could barely put down my phone before I received an answer to a question. While I was there, Angela called me to walk me through troubleshooting a question I had. Truly great service. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone else visiting Glacier National Park. ##### Laura M.
