It was our second visit to this historic property and the magnificence of the surrounding land is truly unparalleled in this day and time. Prepare to wander. »

« It's a nice place for a big group to crash for a few days. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, and pots/pans -- everything we needed. Adequate number of bathrooms for everyone. Short drives to many nice places and to the metro station. Check-out is very simple and appreciated. Owner was always available and proactive on making sure our stay was comfortable. A few no-big-deal oddities: Decaf was the only Keurig coffee option. Garbage disposal failed. No shampoo (but...

About 25 min commute to West Falls Church Metro station where we were able to ride into the city to take in all the attractions. House is dated as another reviewer noted but honestky, who cares. Beds were clean, Kitchen and Dining room were perfect for our size group. »
