"The room was clean and comfortable even if the furniture was dated. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby area. The inn is located in a quiet area on the Wilson lake. It would be lovely in the summer to take advantage of the lake. In the winter it is still beautiful to walk out on the lake. There were fishing huts in the distance and people were riding snowmobiles on the lake. The inn is close to downtown Wilton. Recommend reservations for dining in downdown restaurants."

"We arrived late afternoon during a snowstorm, and found the suite we had rented would be fine for a one night stay. We were also glad to see that a Chinese restaurant was just steps from our room. While everything appeared clean, the suite definitely could use some renovations. There were several damaged places on the walls that had been repaired, but not yet repainted, and there were some very noticeable carpet discolorations. Other than that, all else was fine, and check-in and out was easy. "

"The cottage was beautiful. Everything inside was new or in new condition. The host was also excellent. During our stay we conversed like we were old friends. Cottage was surprisingly well stocked. I would literally want to stay there again."

"This was my second time staying at Forest Bathing. The first time, there was an issue the first night with the pellet stove that was rectified the following day. This time, before ever arriving on the property, I was notified the pellet stove in Cabin 2 was malfunctioning, and I'd be moved to Cabin 1. On my third night, the pellet stove in this cabin also malfunctioned. The host walked me through troubleshooting to fix the issue, but it clearly is a common fail point. Maine winters are far too cold to leave it up to chance on whether or not your guests will stay warm or not. They do have a wall mounted propane heater as a secondary heat source, but it is not sufficient at heating the cabin if the ambient temperature is less than 10 degrees. Along with this, the cabin was not thoroughly cleaned. There was dirt built up on the floor, and I found a baking sheet with stuck on food in the oven. Overall, I am a bit disappointed with my stay here, and am unlikely to return unless these issues with the pellet stoves are resolved. It has a lot of potential, and the folks that manage it are great! However, I cannot stay here again given the deficiencies noted above. "
