"This little housse is like a very good cabin. 2 private bedrooms with one shared bath. Very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for a good stay. New appliances and heating system, back deck has wonderful private view of the woods. Very quiet and restful, yet right in the middle of Staunton. All amenities were minutes from the house. Very clean and had a very interesting history to the house. Yet great modern renovation. Would definitely visit again. The host even left wine for us...

"From entry to exiting, everything was perfectly wonderful. The home is a delightfully clean space. The request to remove shoes inside encouraged all of us to work together moving in. The guys unloading the vehicle to the curb, children assisted getting things to the doorway, where the rest of us, with our shoes off, could move things inside. "A great property! We came to attend a graduation at Washington and Lee. This property was far better to enjoy all events and celebrate with family. The house had everything we needed and we had room to spread out and be comfortable. Everything was clean and extra touches from the toiletries to welcome basket were super thoughtful and appreciated. We were worried we might be far out but we were close to University and shopping and had a fabulous week."

"This home is beautiful & cozy! This home has everything you need for you stay (except washer and dryer but there’s a laundry mat down the street). The only thing is, there are large dogs on both sides of the home (in fenced in yards). The one dog barks A LOT. So if you have a reactive dog you plan to take, keep this in mind. BUT this is not the owner of the homes fault!!!. The owner of the home is very kind and responsive. Anything you need, he’s there!"

The sweet little details of the cabin were super thoughtful, the cleanliness of the cabin was great and the location was perfect! The hot tub was super relaxing. We had a great time and we would love to return!"

"We were in town for a wedding and wanted a place where multiple couples could stay. We loved the house. It is beautifully decorated and had plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds and linens were comfortable and towels were provided. The views of the river were beautiful and there was wood for the fire pit. One of our friends even did yoga down by the river. The hosts were incredibly responsive. Highly recommend staying here!"
