There was nothing one could want for- everything was there and more! The hosts had auch attention to detail and thoughtfulness to make the stay truly special and memorable. We were surprised by how well-equipped it was with heaps of plates, serving utensils and the hardest working (and highly effective!) dishwasher. The beds were super comfy and everyone had their own space while still spending quality time together playing boardgames around the dining table and watching the cricket. The kids thought the garden was full of fairies and we were delighted by visiting black cocktaoos, kookaburras and king parrots throughout our stay. We took advantage of the location to go for lovely walks. Owners were fantastic to deal with. Cottage was very clean, well equipped and the location was incredible. Only oversight by us is that we didn’t realise until we arrived that the kids room is actually external from the main house (separate entrance to the cottage, not inside and upstairs like I thought). Our primary school aged children were too young to sleep in this space alone as there is no access directly from the house without walking outside and at night that is not ideal. The house is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, there are lots of entertainment options, the garden is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to the various lookouts surrounding Wentworth Falls. Plenty of sleeping options and the kids enjoyed a few games of pool in the garage.
