No A/C, even tho it was advertised having it in the room. Smoke detector was dismantled, which is unusual for a hotel room. The rooms above the restaurant are noisy. If you stay here, pick a room on the ground floor. Otherwise is located in a great spot to walk everywhere.

Yes, the units upstairs have the window A/C units installed every spring when it warms up here, I apologize that you may have hit a warm day prior to that. We installed new showers installed in a couple of the upstairs rooms the sheet rock dust was setting off the smoke alarms, so it had been disabled earlier but was back up by days end, and again for that we apologize. We're happy to comp you a room when you have a chance to come back and we'll make sure you get one of the ground floor rooms.

We love that we can bring our pups with us. The staff is always amazing and the location is excellent for a morning run. We have been going there for about 10 years and love it however the past two years we have noticed a lax in maintenance. The heater in our room was blowing cold air and when we mentioned it to the desk staff he sweetly let us use a space heater. Still a great place, and we will continue to stay there however we have noticed a decline in the properties health.

Coziness, charm and comfort
Our overnight stay was completed this mid January in this summer oriented community. We returned to Riverwalk Inn due to our previous stay; most importantly, our near hibernate sleep in the same bed from the previous stay. There are unique crafted features that chain motels avoid, and we welcome, like copper tube shelf/ hangers, world map switch covers, a hand painted large rose for the "Rose" unit on a pocket door, and tasteful (non-blasé) art hangings. The space is small, with adequate amenities, with a queen bed - not king sized; neither are we. Location; there's civilized walking path near the river across the non-busy street in the Park. It leads to old downtown district in a growing town of about 5,000 folks. Many restaurants, local bookstore, good coffee shops, and many specialty stores to support the thousands of vacationers. Staff; we enjoyed our chat with the Innkeeper after having a secluded drive to Riverwalk Inn. Such interactions area welcomed icing on the cake. We will return.

Clean and comfortable. Good location with the Riverwalk next door. Room layout is interesting. There’s only a kitchen sink and no sink or vanity in the bathroom. Their cafe has great breakfast and lattes. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Riverwalk was very close to most everything I wanted to see and do. Staff was extremely helpful about location of restaurants and other businesses. Great access to town and public transportation. The town was very neat and clean.

I feel this facility is way over priced for what you get. Had the Rose room which is very small. Bad mattress but it did a memory foam topper which did help but it needs to be replaced. The room would benefit from black out shades since the outdoor lights shine in that room and for me it was difficult to sleep. The big sign saying BREAKFAST and BAKERY are not always open which we didn't know until we got there, closed Tues & Wed I think, check with them. Excellent location for dining and walking about town. The facility is old and a bit funky but I liked it.

Hi Beth, Thank you so much for the review! The crazy thing is that the mattresses on all of those queen rooms are brand new as are the black out curtains. I'm confused as to why they didn't work right for you, but I appreciate the feedback so we can ponder how to get them to close all the way? That being said, we do appreciate the review and will look into the curtain aspect. We hope to have you back again in the future.

Brian, thank you for the review. I'm sorry about the window shade, we will tend to that and thanks for pointing it out. Yes, the location here is one aspect that makes our inn so great in terms of walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, what happens at the park is beyond our control.

It’s an older property so expect creaks and noises from the building and the walls are quite thin- but it’s so cute and comfortable and the staff are so kind and friendly! And you can’t beat the location!

This is an older hotel but clean and VERY convenient to walk to town. They serve a nice breakfast in the cafe. Their cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are delicious!

A comfy bed, a hot sower, a mini-fridge and microwave, drawers to put our clothes in, the space was what we needed for our brief stay in Chelan. And it was across the street from a park along the river.

Love these little rooms that are just off the main street in Chelan. Farmers' Market is held right next to the hotel on Thursday afternoons!

River walk inn was perfect for a few night getaway. Easy parking. Great location. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Only improvement I can think of is perhaps darker blinds. It’s fully light in the room even with shades down. Other than that it was fantastic. No complaints at all! Great job.

This is a quaint hotel in the center of town next to the park adjacent to the lake. Very pretty here and the hotel is a good choice if you want to be able to walk to town which is 2 blocks away. There are several restaurants within 5 minute walk and lots of shops near by. The main lobby/cafe area is cute and updated. They have pastries for sale at the front and the people who own this hotel are the owners of the Stehekin Pastry Shop so that’s a score! The only down thing I have to say is that the grounds around the facility need a a good weeding/landscaping. It is very unkempt and I kept thinking how charming this place could be if they gave it a little attention to up the curb appeal. Overall I would recommend this hotel for its location and charm.

They did 1day of room service in a Week . We had To go buy toilet paper at a store since there was no staff around. The bedding was terrible it wouldn’t stay on the bed I think it was the wrong size
