The managers were very friendly and offered some helpful tips when we told them we were heading to the South Island after checking out. The motel is in a really nice part of Wellington with a nice cafe a short walk away and great restaurants a bit further up the hill. Our studio had a modern tiled bathroom complete with heated floor and towel rack. The room was neat as a pin and spotlessly clean.
