Welcome to Ronnie's Place

  • Ultimate Base Camp for Trail Riders!

    Welcome to your private 5-acre retreat — the perfect home base for Hatfield-McCoy Trails adventures! This spacious home is ideal for groups hitting the trails with ATVs, UTVs, and dirt bikes. Unload multiple long-bed trailers on 5 private acres. Warrior trail access is under 2 miles.

    Enjoy complete privacy with the entire house and 5 acres to yourselves — no shared spaces, just room to relax after a full day on the trails.

    This was our dad Ronnie Collins' home for many years. He was well known in these parts and took great pride in his hometown. We're honored to keep it in the family and share it with people coming to enjoy Wild & Wonderful West Virginia.

    Sleeping Arrangements

    4 bedrooms plus a bunk room, 3 full baths. Sleeps 12 comfortably. Up to 19 with extra guest fees for groups over 12.

    2 kings — downstairs master (private deck, ensuite shower, Roku, off the living room near the front door) and upstairs master (ensuite tub/shower, Roku, no door, back of the house above the bunk room)

    2 queens, both downstairs off the hallway

    Bunk room: 3 fulls + 1 twin, Roku

    Fold-out sleeper sofa in the living room

    Blow-up mattresses on request

Great Location

If you are wanting to ride the Hatfield-McCoy trail system this is the place for you. Easy access to Warrior, Pinnacle, Indian Ridge, and Pocahontas. Very clean, roomy, and tons of extras. This is not a small cabin to get by. If you need a break one day from ridding the trails this is a great place to lounge around.

Trails and memories

Over overall, it was a great time. The place was very accommodating and check in and check out was very easy. Communication from the host was excellent. Conveniently located to trails, grocery stores & lots of great places to eat. Plenty of parking for side-by-sides, trailers and trucks. There weee four of ys with trucks & trailers. Spacious house equipped well with towels, laundry , pots, pans, etc. Will definitely stay again.

Great property if you're looking for separate bedrooms for guests.

We really enjoyed Ronnie's Place during our trip to the Hatfield McCoy trails. This property is located in the center of 4 trails systems so it's in a great location. The only issue during our stay was the host asked me to not park UTVs on the blacktop driveway as she was not wanting it to get dirty, this request came after we parked there and it had rained. The advertisement for this rental appears to be UTV friendly so I was surprised by the hosts request to keep dirt off of the lot. Clear signage of expectations would be beneficial for this issue. She was available for any needs I had during the stay and would recommend this to any ATV/UTV groups.

Ronnie’s Place didn’t disappoint! Great communication with host!! Beautiful property, ample parking and very clean within residence. Great location in Welch. Choice of Grocery stores, fuel stops and restaurant's…close to Trails too! We will be back and I highly recommend!

Great place

Easy rental. Great place with plenty of room. Everything you need they had. Plenty of parking. Firewood was a available for a cost but that was reasonable. Great folks to work with.
