The cabin itself has vintage wallpaper and beams; Zita had it decorated with some fall decor. The location is just about 15 minutes outside of "downtown" Benezette on route 555\. We saw no elk at any viewing site BUT saw a big herd and a small herd off various parts of 555\. The owner was very kind and helpful. Be sure to take all the linens you need (bedroom, bathroom). If you are sensitive to sound while sleeping, be sure to take earplugs, as traffic comes in spurts during the night, and quickly moves from quiet to a sudden noise. As there are no condiments or coffee, be sure you go prepared! Cabin was clean and conveniently located for seeing elk and traveling to other towns. Two things that should be shared with renters is that the cabin is located right off a main road, so there is a good bit of road noise. Also, it is half of a “duplex”.
