The views from every window are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. Yes, the driveway is quite steep but well worth the ascent to this oasis we all enjoyed. I would highly recommend Judah Lodge. The driveway is steep and curvy but the climb was worth it-the views are amazing and there is plenty of parking. The house is well appointed and the beds were all very comfortable. We made use of the gas grill, explored the town of Weaverville, had dinner in Asheville, lunch at the Grove Park Inn and hiked the Rattlesnake Trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The outdoor deck was our go to spot every moment we were at the home. I always love a place that provides the linens. So double thumbs up for that. Large bedrooms with room for everyone. Porches are large with plenty of seating. Downstairs has a small separate kitchen also. There were 3 bedrooms with king-sized beds and private baths, a room with a queen bed that shares a jack-and-Jill bath with the room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Pillows were on the flatter side but perfect for me. Soap/shampoo provided. Dish detergent/sponges provided. Recommend Blue Mountain pizza in Weaverville but recommend picking it up. Can’t imagine the delivery guy coming up that driveway! Only thing I would have liked was towel bars in the shared bath.
