Train comes through regularly. It’s noisy and the house shakes. We had 8 adults (4 couples) and were expecting 4 bedrooms for each couple to have privacy and a space of their own to sleep. The 4th bedroom only has an oversized chair that folds down for a child to sleep on (not two adults). The plumbing is old and if it rains heavily the master bath toilet doesn’t flush! Ugh! Would be okay place to stay if you only have six adults or less and it doesn’t rain! ##### Laurie W. The house is great and well put together. If you have kids that enjoy trains this is the place to go. The train engineer runs like clock work and the owner leaves each room with ear plugs just in case you need them but it really didn’t bother us. I was worried about the noise from them but it didnt impact us. There was a plumbing issue (just the quirks of being on septic) but Kim was super responsive. We had a weddng near by and the location worked well for that. The immediate area doesnt offer much but a short drive into town and there's everything.
