Perched on the edge of your personal pond, you have access to the paddleboat the owner thoughtfully provided. Also enjoy a large recreation room with a pool table, air hockey a full-size refrigerator, and a seven-person hot tub that will melt all of your cares away. The well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of room to prepare that fresh seafood dinner will also be a big hit for the family chef. The dining area will easily seat 10 or dine al fresco on the porch. Family will enjoy gathering together in the enormous great room, with ample seating and a large flatscreen TV. A beautiful ornamental fireplace provides ambiance but is not for guest use. At the end of the day, everyone can relax in one of the six bedrooms with very comfortable bedding. 3 levels of spacious decks with plenty of seating offer the perfect place to sit back and relax. Enjoy the outdoors with a volleyball net, a cornhole set, and a firepit close to the pond. Under the house you will find an additional recreation area with a ping-pong table, and a round table for games. The 10x20 swimming pool is located under the house so you can keep cool on those hot summer days. There is an under house entrance for your convenience. Enjoy unlimited passes to the Rodanthe Pier, located about 2 miles away! Beach Lake is also within 3 miles of the Salvo Day Use area, a very popular soundfront recreation area. Enjoy the beach from the modern access area in Rodanthe that is equipped with ample parking, a bathhouse, outdoor showers, picnic tables and more! Beach Lake is about 30 minutes from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and an hour away from the Ocracoke ferry. Complimentary bed and bath linens are provided for weekly reservations. For 2026, Beach Lake will include credit for $245 in beach gear rentals from our partners at VayK Life. Stay between April 3rd and October 18th, 2026 (tentative dates, 7-night minimum), and use your beach gear credit for items such as bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, paddleboards, and more! Beach Lake is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes. Layout: Ground Level: Parking area, volleyball net, firepit, cornhole boards, storage areas for boards, kites, fishing poles and pond with a paddle boat and life jackets. Recreation area with ping pong table and a round table for games. Lower Level: Entrance that leads to the recreation room with a pool table and a refrigerator, washer and dryer, king en suite with private bath and a walk-in closet, queen bedroom with a half bath across the hall, pyramid bunk bedroom, Jack and Jill bath, bedroom with full bed and a twin bed. Mid Level: Spacious living area with a gas fireplace and deck access, large well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining area with seating for ten, half bath, king en suite with walk-in closet and private bath featuring a jetted tub and custom tiled shower, covered porch with table and chairs, 7-person hot tub on the deck. We found the yard full of cacti with inch long spikes but not before our dogs found them. We spent the first bit after our arrival pulling spikes from our dogs’ paws, legs, and bellies. There was only a tiny swath of grass on the other side of the drive to take them to potty. The rental company did allow us to use the yard of their vacant rental next door. This listing should be updated as the fenced yard was not suitable for pets. The paddle boat was inoperable due to a missing rudder. The propane tank for the gas grill was empty (we swapped it out and left the full tank there). The kitchen outlets on the stove side don’t work. We ended up buying a coffee maker thinking the one at the house was broken before we realized the issue was the outlets. The couches needed a good cleaning as well as the carpet. The cooking pans are in dire need of replacing. One of the beds had a broken support and slanted toward the floor. Small details like no batteries in the remote, only a single ping pong ball and it was cracked, trash and crumbs left in bedrooms. On the upside, the master bathroom was super clean, the rooms were spacious and the pond was neat. This house has lots of potential to be a rental we would come back to. Unfortunately, we will not be renting this home again in the future. ##### Kara C.
