"Great staff"

"The 2 worst things were: The back door was broken and did not shut properly or lock at all. On Expedia, there was no mention of an extra charge for a dog, only that "pet" rooms cost more. Then at check-in, the motel staff said the charge was 20.00 each night, which made 60.00 for 3 nights. When I offered the 60.00 on my credit card, he then said it was $90.00 because it was a $30.00 charge. This charge appeared dishonest or deceptive."

"As soon as we walked into the lobby of the hotel, a pungent smell of bleach just hit our noses! My initial thought was maybe it came from the chlorine of their swimming pool. But when we opened the door to our room, the same smell of bleach was present. The next morning, we discovered their hair dryer was not a regular one. It was one of those wall-mount units with a base, but it was not mounted at all! That made blow drying or styling very inconvenient as every time we raised the hair dryer, the cord would pull the base up. Breakfast was just okay, with scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties as well as make-your-own waffles. They also have bread, English muffin and bagels. One thing I disliked was their use of small tubes of shampoo and conditioner! That is so bad for the environment!"

"The staff was just amazing. From David, driving the shuttle to the wonderful ladies at the reception desk, to the restaurant and room service staff, everyone was so welcoming and professional."

"This is a great place to take a family with small children. The waterpark is ideal for younger children."

"The room was spacious, bright, clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. The room we were in must have been next to the heating/air conditioner unit as every 10 minutes or so it sounded like a street sweeper driving by. Next time I will ask for a more quiet room. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of choices, free coffee, hot cocoa, tea, ice water, complimentary cookies, apples, oranges or bananas available throughout the day. Parking garage was easily accessible, connected to the hotel. Nice area to walk outside. Highly recommend."

"Needs paint, and the bed was old. Floor in bathroom had hair and so did top bed cover. Breakfast was fine."

"There was a good variety of breakfast items. Front desk staff was easy and polite to work with. The pool needed a little attention (sand and starburst wrappers). The beds were a little hard. Those are nitpicky things though. This was a very good value stay."
