Welcome to house 85 at Pajaro Dunes. We are excited to open our home to you for your next vacation. Our home is perfect for groups looking to relax and enjoy quality beach time together as well as those wishing to explore the beautiful Monterey Bay area. Pajaro Dunes is a serene private beach community located on a secluded stretch of beach with miles of coastline to walk, run and explore. Wake up to the sounds of the waves while enjoying the view from one of our many beach facing windows. The beach access is right in front of our home. Have fun walking along the beach, gathering shells, or jumping the waves. The large beach is perfect for frisbee, soccer, football, kite flying, picnics, sand castle building and reading. Just down the road are the tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts and designated walking paths. Want to relax inside? The open floor plan and extra table space allows for puzzles and games while enjoying the views. House Details: Our 4 bedroom 3 bath home sleeps 10 and has an open floor plan with beautiful ocean views. The beach access is located in front of the house and we are just steps away from a bird sanctuary, tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and a large grassy field. On a clear day you can enjoy views from Monterey to Santa Cruz. \* Our home can be comfortably shared by one family, several small families, or a group of friends traveling together. Our house has plenty of open space for everybody in your group to spread out. \* Our large open living room and dining area provide ample space for your group to relax together. The living room offers high ceilings and large windows, perfect for enjoying the beautiful ocean views. From the living room, dining table area and kitchen you can enjoy ocean views in the front of the house and views of lush eucalyptus trees in the back of the house. \*Our home provides a fully equipped kitchen with enough cookware, dishes and table settings for your whole group. The kitchen has a view of the ocean and the beach access. It also has a large window that opens up to the lush eucalyptus grove at the back of the house. The kitchen is open to the living room and dining room making it easy to be a part of the action while preparing meals. \*Multiple decks are available for you to sit back and relax or dine outside in the fresh air. The back deck has a gas grill and an over-sized picnic table large enough for your group to share a meal together. This deck overlooks eucalyptus trees. The front deck has patio chairs, tables and ocean views. An upstairs south facing side deck has a small table, chairs for 4 and ocean views. \*We provide a dedicated, private and secure, wireless internet connection specific to our home. This makes it possible to have a faster wireless connection to work remotely, attend distance learning school or stream your favorite shows. We also have a cordless phone with free local and long distance calling. \*Plenty of boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, shovels and sand toys are all provided in the attached 2 car garage for you to use while enjoying the beach. \*Parking available in the attached two car garage, on the driveway and on the street directly in front of the house. Bedroom Configurations and Layout: \* Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, a full bath and laundry facility. The front bedroom has two twin beds. The second bedroom has a queen bed, views overlooking eucalyptus trees, and a flat panel smart TV. These two bedrooms have access to a shared deck. \* The main floor has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. These two rooms have the potential to be closed off as two master suites. The front master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. The back bedroom has a queen bed, a double bed, and a flat panel smart TV. This room can be closed off to create a second master bedroom. Both rooms on the main level have a shared ocean view balcony with a patio table and chairs. Toys, games, and puzzles for both kids and adults for the rainy day that we stayed inside. My youngest one hung out in the loft almost every time we were home. If there was a bed up there, he would have stayed up there all night. The house is fully furnished and very welcoming.(thank you for the chocolates!). We all agree that the next time we come in a couple of years, we would definitely pick house 85 again! The location was perfect and check in was ok, the front desk didn’t give us our keys initially. My only gripe was how outdated and unkept the house was for the price. The beach was literally steps away (I counted a little over 100), and the weather was perfect. We walked over to the beach several times a day. We flew kites, built sand castles, played in the waves, and went beach combing. The sunsets were gorgeous and visible from the rental house as well. This is a comfortable family friendly place. The kids, ages 2 1/2, 8 and 10 always found things to do. There are kid books to entertain and inspire drawings. There are lots of sand toys for the beach. The adults enjoyed the central area where we watched the Olympics on TV and enjoyed good food. The dining room table fit our group and we used the BBQ all three nights of our stay. It seemed very rural around the area, and we stayed at the house, but there are grocery stores and other things in the suburbia type town of Watsonville, only about 10 to 15 minutes away. We were new to the Pajaro Dunes area and we loved it, not overly crowded, and very peaceful and beautiful. ##### Lisa B. My kids, nieces, and nephews look forward to staying here and only here. They are never curious about other properties. We saw a few dolphins and otters. We made castles in the sand and enjoyed the volleyball court. The best part is the constantly hearing the crashing waves. The worst part is leaving. There was plenty of space and was well stocked for our group. And the beach access was right there, which led to many walks down the beach.
